Reid's pretty neutral about Kayneth at the moment, but he's very interested in learning more about his world now that he's more okay with the idea of there being multiple worlds. So there's a conversation gambit there!
Ib likes Menma, as she reminds her of Mary before she went nutty. But, because she's very similar to Mary in personality, she's also wary, and still testing the waters of their friendship. She hopes that they can become close as friends, and that Menma isn't hiding anything dark and scary, like Mary was.
Pony buddy, come be his friend forever. <-- accurate summary of Reid's thoughts.
Part of the reason Reid really clicked with Twilight despite meeting many other intellectuals is because she is very personable without making him feel uncomfortable. She gets that he's socially awkward, mostly because she is too, and that goes a long way for his comfort level. The fact that she is the type to seek out friendship instead of just professional acquaintanceship is also a plus, because he is not the type to initiate a personal connection and tends to reject said connection if it's not made organically, so if she had tried getting too familiar with him too fast, he would have spooked, but if she had kept all their conversations strictly intellectual and acted aloof, their relationship would have stayed strictly professional.
As it stands, because of how personable and clearly innocent she is--not as much as Fluttershy, but still very much so compared to Reid--Reid feels comfortable with her, and he's glad to spend time together. On the other hand, her innocence would make it difficult for him to talk much about his own life to her (since he knows that it's one thing to hear awful stories and another thing entirely to know it happened to someone you know), but not as difficult as he would find talking to Fluttershy. If it ever occurs to her to try to use the POWER OF FRIENDSHIP to deal with his issues, he'd react reticently and try to evade it, but he wouldn't outright clam up.
She kind of...doesn't really know what to think most days. On the one hand: competent fighter, good person, and not all that reckless in comparison to say, Sora or Xion. On the other...she thinks he's a little arrogant and still has a lot to learn in terms of strategy and knowing when to take a loss. At least, the last time they had an actual chat, anyway. Currently she just feels sympathy towards him because OW everyone's vanishing and she knows that sucks balls.
Ah, yes. Berserk Buttons. Silly things get pressed at just the worst possible times and throw the biggest monkey wrenches into plans. I do know this feel. But, eh, we can make it work at some point, surely. >> you know. So long as they don't catch each other angry again.
Ah, it's kinda funny she thinks that, given how far he's come since Leon kicked his butt. (see: Him being pretty chill about getting knocked outta Elite). 'course, there probably hasn't been a particularly good opportunity for that to come up. He totally thinks he's got some awesome strategies, though, especially after his experiences in Standard. :'| /flips him
But I think some of that arrogance is just a Riku-thing. At least... a Riku who hasn't gone through hell thing.
Ryo thinks that Takuto is a pretty cool guy! The fact that he's a singer is also a plus, as that's what Ryo strives to be. That is, an ultra-cool idol. Ryo also likes how Takuto seems to very down-to-earth and kind, so he really really idolizes and respects him.
Cobra I think it's safe to say at this point that Cobra Commander doesn't like Heather. He pretty much sees her as this annoying teenager that shows up to annoy him and/or rain on his parade, and he doesn't care for that at all. There's no reason to worry about a bomb or a Pokemon assassin or anything like that though because she's still pretty low on Cobra's list of people he wants gone.
Gordon First of all, Gordon's really glad Heather took the time to help him with the Pokegear, even if it didn't go too well. Second of all, she's Coop's friend, so that's a good sign. Cooper usually has good taste in friends, so that means Gordon's pretty sure Heather's a nice person.
He's still not sure why she was talking about donuts though. ):
Or so he thinks. He's still angry about that, and still hates Apollo for it, but he's been a bit preoccupied lately. He definitely hasn't forgotten about it though.
I'm sure there'll be plenty of opportunities to make it work. Just have to avoid Apollo seeing nature or Pokémon being mistreated, or putting him in a situation where he's helpless to do anything to stop the above. For example, reminding him that Team Rocket can't be beaten no matter what he does on his own, without giving him another option.
Ren thinks Crow is an interesting guy in general. It's amusing to talk with him from time to time without actually stressing about too much about what can be talked and what not. They don't know each other well enough for him to say they're friends or anything like that, but they're in positive terms. Positive enough for him to say that he'd help him if there would be a reason for that. And he's also keeping an eye if Cobra decides to take his ultimate revenge on Crow or something like that so he can warn him (anonymously or not).
Really, Crow's one of those people that you can just talk to in general which he appreciates since there's not really many people he talks to in general.
... and he's kind of used to the whole Mr. Casanova thing by now, so he'd be shocked if he one day called him by his real name (which I doubt, but you now... if). While he's tempted to just continue calling him Scarecrow, he probably won't use it as much as he could.
Combee pumps it out pretty quick. Apollo's not really sure what to do with all these jars of honey he's starting to accumulate. There's too much to eat already. I'm gonna have him start selling them at some point.
Yeah, he was so preoccupied that he didn't even put Apollo on his hit list. He seems more focused on "El Zorua" right now.
For now, Sasuke's 'just another kid' to him. He didn't even get his name from that conversation XD But oops sorry I guess to scarring you for life too?
