THE ALL PURPOSE POKéMEME
We've had plenty of memes about our characters in the past, so why not something a little different? After all, Pokémon is a huge part of what makes Route so special.

Val is... well, it's hard to really know. Heather hasn't bothered to get to know him. He's rather helpful, though, and eager to please. If only she'd given him a chance.
Background: Val's egg was a gift-- a gift that remained unhatched for a very, very long time. In fact, it went so long without any signs of movement that if it hadn't still SMELLED fine, Heather would have assumed it was DEAD. Spooky. Then, finally, on Halloween night, it hatched.
... Into a creature so creepily reminiscent of her old buddy Valtiel that Heather remains UTTERLY FREAKED OUT by him to this day. He was named Val Jr. for his resemblance to a mini version of her favorite guardian angel.
Current Relationship: As stated, Heather is still pretty spooked by Val, in a way that trumps even her ongoing uneasiness surrounding Carousel and some of her dog Pokemon. It's not really his fault. He's a perfectly friendly little guy, aside from his... uh, unusual appearance. In fact, he'd like nothing more than to prove himself to her, and become a powerful defender of the team like Carousel. But in the meantime, like Cheryl and Alessa (both of whom are remarkably in-tune with their trainer's emotions and comfort-levels), he is aware of Heather's unease and is content to help her out from afar.
Noticeable Traits: Whether it's a deformity related to his unnaturally-long period before hatching or if he's just pulling a Brock and never opening them, Val... does not appear to have eyes. Spooky. Even spookier, this doesn't appear to hinder him much at all.
Plots and Ideas: Well, at SOME point, Heather's gonna need to get used to this little guy. I'm not entirely sure how to go about doing this, but if anyone wants to plot with a helpful little Fighting Type who wants to evolve and be an awesome warrior, let me know!
