He could do that! He's been doing research into poisons and the various spores that Pokemon tend to use in Johto, so he's sort of an expert when it comes to JESUS CHRIST THAT'S A PARAS DON'T STEP ON IT LORD ALMIGHTY and so on.

Or he could write a furious jeremiad about the one-way ledges and why they are stupid.

So Misaki and Ilya's first encounter went... about as could be expected.

Ilya's a bit unhinged, but she can be nice enough if treated well, and she's got a ghost pokemon (Duskull) who she thinks is absolutely adorable, so after the wounds have healed from their first run in she might be a good candidate for getting Misaki used to them.

She's also familiar with the "I love my sibling so much I'm going to kill them" feeling (she hasn't actually done it, but she's responsible for like... a quarter of the bad ends in her game) so she might relate to Mayu. Whether that's a good thing or not is debatable, natch.

So Misaki has a slight crush on Jake and she kinda wants to spend more time with him because she feels they haven't been talking enough. So what else than having a small battle to spend some time together. That was really cheezy, I'm sorry.

She's also sending Jake (and most of the guys she's friends with) a little something for Valentine's day so any reaction to that is fine.

Blurb: In a word, Valeria is complex. In more than a word, she is perhaps most simply described as a black operative with a sharp mind and a heart that beatbeatbeats. Perceptive and empathetic, she tends to be one of those warm, pleasant, kind of cheerful, upbeat sort of personalities, which is exactly why most people don't tend to peg her as black ops out of uniform back on Gaia. She's not exactly your poster girl at first glance, but she is very much a professional. She's usually straightforward, but not necessarily open with a side of lonely she covers up with a smile. She's got a soft spot for kids and teenagers as a result of her difficult youth and tends to take to them pretty easily, often resulting in adoptions. Anything else, you'll just have to find out by either watching or playing with her, you bums.
Plans: Valeria is presently adjusting to the idea that, after two weeks and some change in Johto-Kanto, she may seriously be stuck there for some time. About the only other things I've got set in stone for is her powering through Viridian forest on the back of a rock snake, hitting Pewter with her epic travel group {SEE: Bro Strider (lovesmuppeteer) and Mom Lalonde (matini)}, getting her Scyther in line, bugging Bro, girly times with Mom, Jigglypuff acquisition, and a couple of adoptions. That, and training so she can take the gym challenge. Otherwise, she's pretty open!

Blurb: A 13-year-old mountain boy who can communicate with animals. Stays calm most of the time and enjoys talking about Pokémon and nature in general, and hates anyone who would harm either. Recent events have gotten him to realize that his worldview has been severely limited, so he's starting to pay more attention to what's going on in Johto. He'd still rather be away from the towns if possible. He's probably the person to talk to if you want to know about medicinal and edible plants in Johto, since he's been looking into that since he first arrived.
Plans: He's spending the winter in his cave at the Lake of Rage, because he's really dedicated to the whole "avoiding towns" thing. I have no immediate plans for him over the winter, but longer-term I want him to get involved with the PGC and he'll be selling jars of honey sometime in the spring or summer, courtesy of his Combee and Vespiquen leaving and starting a hive. He also has a young Sentret that I'd like someone who travels a lot to take off of his hands, if anyone's interested (sadly, it doesn't know Flamethrower).

If Raz found out about that Sentret, he'd be more then willing to take it in. Mostly because he's a traveller (well, he will be when he's gotten to Kanto which will be a bit of a while), but he'd take good care of it.
Plus, he'd be pretty fasinated by being able to actually talk to the Pokemon, not using mind reading to do it.
