What you're looking for: General CR, both positive and negative, plots that I can toss Apollo at, the works. It's hard to get him involved in stuff, so any ideas are welcome.

Location: Lake of Rage, with irregular trips into Mahogany Town for supplies
Blurb: A 13-year-old mountain boy who can communicate with animals. Stays calm most of the time and enjoys talking about Pokémon and nature in general, and hates anyone who would harm either. Recent events have gotten him to realize that his worldview has been severely limited, so he's starting to pay more attention to what's going on in Johto. He'd still rather be away from the towns if possible. He's probably the person to talk to if you want to know about medicinal and edible plants in Johto, since he's been looking into that since he first arrived.
Plans: He's spending the winter in his cave at the Lake of Rage, because he's really dedicated to the whole "avoiding towns" thing. I have no immediate plans for him over the winter, but longer-term I want him to get involved with the PGC and he'll be selling jars of honey sometime in the spring or summer, courtesy of his Combee and Vespiquen leaving and starting a hive. He also has a young Sentret that I'd like someone who travels a lot to take off of his hands, if anyone's interested (sadly, it doesn't know Flamethrower).

If Raz found out about that Sentret, he'd be more then willing to take it in. Mostly because he's a traveller (well, he will be when he's gotten to Kanto which will be a bit of a while), but he'd take good care of it.
Plus, he'd be pretty fasinated by being able to actually talk to the Pokemon, not using mind reading to do it.

He'll probably bring it up once spring comes and it's not wintering in his PC Box, but as long as he's convinced that Raz will take good care of it it's his. Or rather, he'll let the Sentret travel with Raz, because no one can own living things.

Sadly for Raz, Apollo's a psychic too, just only with animals (and plants... somehow...). He also uses telekinesis later on in his canon (he picks up a lake) but for now just weak telepathy. Apollo will be interested to meet someone else who can talk to animals the same way that he can though.

Yeah, man! Raz sees his Pokemon as allies and friends, not things he owns. Except for one creepy Alakazam he used to have. That thing wasn't normal.

Yup, and he'd be willing to chat, of course! He'll be happy to meet another telepath too, haha. He'll think you're a secret Psychonaut, Apollo. So secret, even you don't know you're one.
But plz don't use those powers here if you could, Raz has that whole dying in water thing, lakes are scary places.

That's an answer that he'll accept. And he's starting to become aware of weird Pokémon - he now has a Yamask that refuses to come out of the PC and won't tell him why, a Solrock that just floats around and silently watches you, and his latest addition, a highly territorial Archen that attacks him if he tries to get too close to her.

Well that's kind of useless then, isn't it? A Psychonaut who doesn't know they're a Psychonaut.

Raz won't have to worry about the TKing water thing, since no non-telepathy powers in Route and all. The Sentret does know Surf and Whirlpool, however...

His Alakazam never talked, never moved when he looked at it, and stayed quiet and scary. (Based off of one I had in my Blue/Crystal, a glitch Alakazam from Box 13 on Blue (Stadium Junk), which had Bite and Hi Jump Kick! :D)

I suppose it is - but Raz'll still think it.

Haha, Raz has a Slowking. As long as he stays far away from the water, he'll be fine. Brock won't know what hit him >:)

....so I think when I'm no longer hiatus-ing, barring any other wacky hijinks preempting it, Geddoe will be headed towards Mahogany to see about finishing off a set of badges, if Apollo would be up for meeting that one guy who keeps giving him terse advice in person..... :Db

Wacky hijinks are always a danger, but Apollo could very well be in town at the same time as Geddoe. In fact he will be. Because I say so. And they will meet face-to-face.

...Thinking about it, Apollo's only had a face-to-face conversation with someone here... three times? Maybe four?

...fortunately Geddoe has the Fly HM now which may speed things up. IF he trusts any of his to actually carry him, that is. :|a
