HAHAH SHE IS A LITTLE CONFLICTED ABOUT IT but fortunately not nearly as conflicted as she would have been when she first came to Route, which is mostly thanks to Phoenix Wright and Cooper.
Phoenix was her first introduction to the idea that HEY PEOPLE OF THE LAW MIGHT NOT BE ALL THAT BAD, and then Cooper cemented it. She and Coop got along TERRIBLY for like... what, a year? Pretty much a whole year. Because she was a little snot and he was like "ugh bye kid I don't have time for this". THEN AT SOME POINT IT CHANGED and she realized that holy shit, Cooper is pretty damn neat.
FROM THAT POINT ON she keeps on making new COP FRIENDS and she can't really deny that it makes her a little nervous. Not even Coop can really make a lifetime (or more than one lifetime if you count Alessa, who likely also had been taught to distrust police, just for way worse reasons) of combined wariness, resentment and disdain for the law disappear overnight, so when she's around people like Ziva or the rest of the Blue Rose gang, there's always something in her that's a little nervous.
But above her, like, BASIC INSTINCTS, she's become more or less accustomed to the idea, since Cooper is practically a crash course in COPS ARE PEOPLE TOO AND ALSO SOMETIMES SUPER WEIRD BUT COOL ONES, so she's not nearly as resentful and assholish to lawpeople anymore.
That won't stop her from being a little nervous if any of them get too interested in her affairs, though. But that's okay she can get over it.
