Blurb: Derpy uncle figure, he's also a soldier guy who's just saved his 'daughter'. Also the father of Squall who has no idea about that. Basically a big goofball, who tends to get lost quite a bit.
Plans: Weeell... Laguna's going to settle down in Goldenrod, for a few months. So that's his plans! Long-term plans, though? He's gonna go to the Safari Zone after beating Morty in the distant future! He'll also be having Pokemon problems soon, mostly because he'll have lots of misbehavers after the convention.
Actually, I'm drawing a comic for a post on the 14th, and he'll also be looking into Pokemon speaking English! :D So there's also that. Spark the Rotom may be messing with his texting that day, too...
But if you wanna make plans with him, that's fine! Or with his Pokemon! I'd write all about them here, but that'd be 35 paragraphs and would be too long to handle, bby. But if you see a Pokemon you're interested in, after tonight I'll have updated his roster including their personalities!

Plans: He's gonna go to Kanto after the breeding convention, to start his badge journey there! Because he wants to see this new region, as well. He's starting with Sabrina though because she's a psychic holy shit why does she have powers and my cool ones got robbed from me!

My internet hasn't had its shit together for the past day and a half, so I haven't gotten back to most of those Poketext threads, but Olivia and Spark seem to have the potential for getting along...and Ondorus could use some chill friendly adult contacts.

Yes, this sounds good to me! Laguna's gonna be settling down very soon, and he'll be glad to have more friends. And Spark... well, he could use something tethering him down and teaching him 'no different clothes aren't like rotom formes.' and also introduce him to movies.
And your slowness is fine, I'm slow half the week. :)

Oh, also, Laguna has a Deerling which he can totally help tell the seasons with! :D
He's also going to be interested in the rights of them, because of Moombas at home too. Some monsters deserve rights, damnit! Especially ones who act smarter then him sometimes!

Also spoilers: Laguna has no idea about Spark texting on the 'gear.

Ahh, why did I not know this? Clementine has been interested in Pokémon speaking English ever since she heard about Riku's Weavile from Sasuke. She'll definitely hang around any attempt by Laguna to teach his Pokémon with interest.

He'll probably end up regaling his attempt to teach Moombas English to her too, just as a warning.
But, yes, he'll also try and teach any of her Pokemon, if she happens to be around. Of course, it'll be a long process, but it's like raising a kid!

All noted - I can imagine her most encouraging Katya to learn to speak, if on slightly silly, tenuous grounds that the one Pokémon who could talk in the cartoon was a cat, so well now that might be a good place to start.
