If you've never played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon before, here's the skinny:
1) Your character wakes up.
2) To their surprise, they've mysteriously become a Pokemon! Oh no!
3) ... Wow. There's no humans anywhere. What do?
4) Better head up to the Wigglytuff Rescue Guild so that you'll have a warm place to sleep while you figure out what's up!
5) ????
6) PROFIT


Your character is now an Exploration Team rookie, vying for the best exploration missions and forming friendships with fellow team-mates! Decide what Pokemon your character has become and get cracking! Go on missions, get to know your partner(s), butt heads with potential rivals, or maybe just try to slack off or sneak a bite to eat from the kitchen without getting caught by Chatot or Chimecho! IT'S ALL UP TO YOU.

[Shaun still hasn't gone on a rescue mission yet. The little Cubone is afraid to stray too far from the safety of all of the other Pokemon, so he's just going to sit on a ledge on the edge of the little town, clutching his bone club in his paws and swinging his stubby little legs.]

[The squeak that comes from the Cubone that Jack nearly steps on is unmistakeably a child's voice. In jumping out of the way, he trips over his tail and falls, hard, his bone club flying out of his hands and skittering across the floor. He clutches his skull helmet in his paws with a small, overstimulated noise, giving up and sitting down miserably.]

_{[She turns around a little on her stubby legs. Meanwhile, Chatot skitters away the moment her attention is diverted. <8I WHAT A PSYCHO.]}

[Crow tilts his head to the side a bit in the direction of the Chatot. He doesn't pay too much attention to the other bird, though, giving Heather a concerned look. For all he knows, being literally on fire is probably the last thing she'd wish for, so he figures it must be hard for her... Talk about some shitty luck.]

[Shaun's eyes widen, but he lets the bone club fall a little when Heather turns.]

Yeah! I...woke up as a Pokemon too.

[The orphan Pokemon, specifically. But, however oddly fitting that is, it's neither here nor there.]

[Somehow, suddenly an owl should be more of a surprise then this. But Harry's just really annoyed because hands, how can you write without hands?

Ah well, back to plan A. Locate daughter./there is a Noctowl looking around and keeping an eye out for any kids lost or confused because parent mode is always on.]

In Killua's case, finding out that's he's gone from a hunter to a rescuer is a simple transition However he is a touch miffed forcible recruited by a pink balloon rabbit. So anyone that approaches might want to be a touch careful around the peeved electric lion. He may pounce.]

[Seeing the little pokemon at the last second causes the Houndoom to pitch forward into an awkward roll. Legs splayed, he tumbles into the edge of a door and there he lay until the world righted itself.]

[He picks up his tiny glasses and places them back on his snout before padding over to nose at the Cubone. He could pick up papers later.]</sub>

[One thing that hasn't changed about Shaun is his his unwillingness to be touched by strangers, so the Lonely Pokemon flinches away at the cold nose nudging his brown, leathery skin.

He does look over at the Houndoom, though, nearly bashing the snout of his helmet against the larger 'Mon's.]

I-I'm okay. I'm okay...

[He doesn't seem to be as used to his body as someone who had been born a Pokemon would be. He's also pretty obviously lying about being okay. Physically, maybe.]

I need my bone thingy. Did you see where it went?

[Did you say lost and confused kids? Because there's a pretty confused-looking little Cubone wandering around, clutching his bone club to his chest like a security blanket (that he's prepared to hit someone with if they surprise him).]

Considering the bird's whole complaint is that I'll turn the place into an inferno if I go to sleep on something soft, I'm pretty sure that's not a viable solution.
