If you've never played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon before, here's the skinny:
1) Your character wakes up.
2) To their surprise, they've mysteriously become a Pokemon! Oh no!
3) ... Wow. There's no humans anywhere. What do?
4) Better head up to the Wigglytuff Rescue Guild so that you'll have a warm place to sleep while you figure out what's up!
5) ????
6) PROFIT


Your character is now an Exploration Team rookie, vying for the best exploration missions and forming friendships with fellow team-mates! Decide what Pokemon your character has become and get cracking! Go on missions, get to know your partner(s), butt heads with potential rivals, or maybe just try to slack off or sneak a bite to eat from the kitchen without getting caught by Chatot or Chimecho! IT'S ALL UP TO YOU.

[Mom is kind of getting her bearings and getting used to being a bird. It's...odd...but she's rolling with it. In all honesty, she really likes it! She can fly and swim and kinda sorta walk, and swans are very pretty birds.

So, she's just going to meander around everywhere, idly looking at everything.]

[The noise rings in the hollow skull on Shaun's head, and he gets to his feet, leaning back on his stocky tail for balance.]

[Shaun sits down as well, which isn't much of an effort except for the fact that it bends his thick tail funny and he's still not sure if he's used to it.]

Well if this was Johto you'd think they'd have found all these buildings and stuff by now. Besides, it doesn't seem like there's any humans or anything.

[Ziva smiles and carefully takes it with a paw and manages to kinda half-scoop half-shove it into the bag she was given to carry around dungeons.]

Well, you are not. And that makes me wonder how many others are about. Shall we find out?

[He smiles underneath the skull helmet, which hides his mouth but not his eyes, and laughs as he's nudged, nudging her back lightly.]

[He's a lot less scared now that he has Miss Ziva to look after him. Especially because she's a big, fully-evolved Pokemon.]

I have no idea what the hell. The only other Pokemon I've run into that would talk was some kind of giant, screaming rabbit. [His ears flick back in annoyance just remembering it.]

Something about being explorers.
