What you're looking for: Bakura needs more friendships and people to help encourage him to grow and mature as a person. He's hiding most of his issues and most of his true self, trying to put on a good face and ignore anything that upsets him. Anyone to adopt him would be great!

Blurb: Bakura's a game loving nerd who does his best not to be emo despite his life being kinda... uh... unfortunate. He's big on escapism, almost clingy for friendship, very loyal to anyone he makes friends with and willing to do anything for them.
Plans: Since he has his Monster World game with him, I would *really* love for him to run an RPG. It's his favorite game and he wants to share it with everyone now that it's safe!

He's also swapping mode to a breeder and settling down in Goldenrod with his newly acquired castmates. He got kicked a little hard with a lot of drops and has been clinging to Yuugi's arrival to keep him stable. Would like to expand out his base so he's not just so dependent on that one person.

First off, count Malik in for any RPGing that happens, since that'd be a good time to ~meet all Bakura's friends~ -- plus that sounds awesome. Though I have a sinking feeling Malik will start trying to backseat Dark Master. A game where he is not the mod, what is this.

Also, I need to run this by Pheebs too, but - once Yuugi and Bakura are established as breeders, and the house begins to fill with eggs, would Malik sneaking one or two eggs a batch away before either breeder can notice be okay/interesting? If he's surrounded by that many resources he might start getting ideas about Pokémon egg black-market deals in exchange for villainous help/info from other Rockets. -_-;;;

I won't ever do anything villainy to you guys without your go-ahead, so if you'd rather he not start poaching your eggs/you think Bakura'd notice, that's totally fine. ^____^ Just something that occurred to me as a possibility! I am equally excited about getting to play out daily life in Card Game House. (Bakura's going to win so many brownie points for being able to cook.)

He'll have to be very fast about snatching them since Bakura is a doting sort with his pokemon and would freak out if an egg went missing! But otherwise, that's fine!

and Bakura vs Malik as game master could be pretty amusing, since Bakura is just as bad as his counter part when it comes to controlling the game world. :D [He just has more escapes planned from the horrible traps and twist endings so he can avoid a total party kill!] and Malik getting a little to much will find himself running up against more traps and tricks than the rest of the group. ;)

I also would love for something about the Ring to be slipped up with since Bakura doesn't know what's up in Battle City and is trying to pretend like DK didn't bother him, what with YB killing Pegasus and all. He has so many cannon issues to get worked through that he's just ignoring!

He'll have to see how that goes, then - since he's very careful he might consider the risk too high. ^_^

Oh goodness, yes, please one-up Malik whenever and however you can. Malik only thinks of Bakura in terms of being the Ring's host at present, so it'd be interesting to play Malik realizing he's rooming with two people, not one person and one just-a-pawn.

I'll have to think about how to slip up re: the Ring, but I'm equally certain that can be arranged! Malik is all about confrontation, so any way he can unintentionally help Bakura confront his own troubles I'm all for.

Any game they play, Bakura will be serious competition. He's no Yuugi, but games are Bakura's life and he's a sneaky little bastard when he wants to be >D Just give him openings to be a little imp and he'll go for it. [Harmless pranks, playing rings around him in games, anything like that. He so rarely gets his moments to shine]

I wonder if somehow Bakura with bedhead can give the aura of ye ole Bathead and make Malik mistake him?

Excellent. XD Malik's not bad himself, but as mentioned, he's also used to being in charge - and isn't expecting trickery from vessels.

...that's possible, yes. ^_^ Seeing as Malik can't be certain there's no Ring to be found....

Bakura is surprisingly good at trickery. That innocent face of him, you never suspect is just waiting for you to check behind that giant rock for treasure and find a orc instead~

Oh-- and if Malik ever wants to play chess, Bakura was playing against L from Death Note for a while so his chess skills have improved substantially >D

And Bakura on and off has nightmares/trouble sleeping so it can even be the middle of the night, half asleep so his eyes are only half open and hair right up for max confusion.

Malik likes chess quite a lot! So that would definitely be fun. Oh god, poor Bakura. Chess against L must be an experience.

Middle of the night would actually be perfect for any identity confusion. Malik's nights aren't too great himself (own Issues + canon dislike of darkness) so his own nerves would be shot, and he'd be more likely to speak without thinking the scene over first....maybe let them get situated, etc, and then a thread or a log?

Oh it was! And he loved it. Best game of his life and the start of the weirdest friendship EVER. Much better than his games in other RPs vrs Darth Vader and Palpatine.. those were... less than fun *LOL*

It's been what, two weeks since they met up? SO whenever, can start a log for it! :)

...aside from obvious 'Card Game House' and Monster World shenanigans (forever on board), I would adore it if Bakura could come along whenever Yuugi moves his way back to Route 32. xD Just so we can have Yuugi instantly comparing his set-to-get Mareep to his friend. And the likely on-the-road gaming.

Which I picture happening roughly when Yuugi's team level is an average of Lvl 8.

Bakura is going to be a touch clingy with Yuugi for a while, I'm sure so if Yuugi suggests going out somewhere, he'll follow.

One of his chess boards is travel sized, so they'll have more than just Duel Monsters (and made up on the spot games) to play too! :)

Pokemon bingo definitely should be one of them :D And they can take bets how long it'll take Amane to find yet another low level pokemon to bully and things like that :)

But yes, I say once other moving-in plans are settled, we could get on this! =3 Yuugi's team is growing at different rates, but most will be ready before we get too antsy to try this out!
