[Soon enough a Naruto passes by just... staring, at the kid tossing rocks into the water, and apparently yelling at himself.]

Oi... whatcha doing?

[He is yelling at the stone! THE STONE! and the river too, because it ate it!]

[Looking to the new arrival, he takes on little step closer to the backpack he left on the shore.]

What does it look like I'm doing? Look, I'll get it this time!

[And the stone hops, hops... and hops, and... sploosh!]

...

[Naruto watches..... and yeah. Unimpressed.]

...You suck at this.

[Yeah, look who's talking. He takes a stone and throws it at him.]

Oh yeah? You go ahead and try then!

Fine, I will!

[Look at this, he bends down to pick up the stone, walking closer before tossing it at the water.

...

It bounces three times (THREE) before finally sinking, look at that!]

See? And that was my first go.

That's it! [He points an accusing finger.] You're my rival!

Ehhhh? Why me? I've already got a rival. Well, sorta.

Of course I can! [Yes, he is arguing.]

Name's Madara. [He states, sweeping another stone from the riverbed's assortment and preparing to throw it.]

No you can't! You cant just--

[WAIT. Waaaaaait.]

Madara? As in.... Uchiha Madara?

[The boy freezes in mid-throw, catching the stone with his fingertips and bringing it back into his palm to perhaps use as weapon as laughable as it may be.]

How do you know?

[He has nothing to hide if he knows. All he can do is prepare for an assault. Shinobi are not supposed to say their last names. He still cannot get away from the shock and the bad feelings that come with someone finding out.]

'Cause, you're...

[He's fighting a war against you. A dead you. Sorta. And you're.... here. As a little kid. Failing at throwing pebbles.]

I sorta met you. The adult you, y'know?

[he is sooooo not getting you. Just not at all.]

Adult me? You mean my dad?

[Brief confusion ensues cause his dad sort of looks nothing like him, but he does not drop his guard.]

[And he doesn't know what to think about it. IT'S MADARA. But he's also some dumb looking kid.]

[Wow. He thinks you have snapped. So snapped.]

You're the dumbass cause I'm a kid! You're taller than me you giraffe! You're the adult here!
