Seeing as how it's been about seven months since the last time we did this, it's high time for another...

Post with the characters you're thinking of apping in to see how they do! Either they've been here a while, are just arriving, or anything you want!

Have fun!

[ Guess who conveniently happens to be in the same area, looking for his missing shoe? Said shoe seems to be forgotten the second he spots the familiar-looking person and decides to walk up to her, though. His Growlithe isn't far behind him, carefully eyeing the Espeon.

Naegi is the smoothest protagonist ever, guys. ]

...Kirigiri-san?

[She's actually paying attention to something else at the moment — probably trying to figure out where the hell the hidden speaker is that's pumping out the BGM — so what she actually notices first is the sound of footsteps approaching.

Rapid trotting; probably a dog or small animal like the purple...thing tagging along with her. And another, slower...strangely uneven gait that could only come from a person wearing only one—

...Okay, seriously, that better not be a randomly shoeless — OH LOOK IT'S NAEGI-KUN why is she entirely unsurprised.

Well, hey, there are worse people to be lost in...DANGAN COUNTRYSIDE??...with, she supposes.]

Mm. You lost a shoe, Naegi-kun?

Um, yeah... [ Wow, not even a proper hello? ...Well, he doesn't seem to mind because he looks really happy to stand there despite only wearing one shoe. Kirigiri's mere presence basically made his week. ]

But my search lead me to you, so it's a good thing.

[Look, Naegi, you cannot expect pleasantries when there are mysteries afoot. That's just silly.

...Of course, now that you're here we can start with HOLY SHIT THAT SURE IS THE SKY OVERHEAD, ISN'T IT, in terms of the deducin'.

(Speaking of deducing, Naegi-kun is acting suspiciously normal given the fact that OH BY THE WAY OUTDOORS and also SUN and DEFINITELY NOT MURDERSCHOOL. Taking into account a given amount of leeway considering Naegi-kun is always suspiciously normal — super high school level normal, one might even say — there still leaves a conspicuous amount of WHY DOES THIS NOT BOTHER YOU in play.)

(...Possibly some kind of gambit of the mastermind?)

(Although that doesn't seem to add up considering if Kirigiri had to make a list of all the things the masterm—)

(You know what, fuck it, let's just ask Naegi, he's right here.)]

I'm grateful for it. Do you know where we are?

[ Okay, they can have all the pleasantries some other time. Naegi will inevitably ask her to hang out with him later so he can finish her free-time events and gain friendship points. For now, he's just going to spill the information she wants like the good protag he is. ]

In the world of Pokémon. We're currently on Route 32, south of Violet City. The region is called Johto.

[Yes, good, spill all those deets. The faster they get to the bottom of things, the faster the mysteries of this situation will be resolved to her satisfaction, which means she can go back to the important things in life like being won over by the protagonist's offers of friendship and fooling herself into thinking she's above functioning like a normal human being.

...never mind that the deets sound completely implausible and are really just kind of reinforcing her perception that she was too dangerous to be allowed to continue in the game and now she's in some kind of Matrix-esque stasis as punishment, but.

(She could never be satisfied with that, obviously, but it's a little more tolerable because Naegi-kun is here, anyway. Whoever set all this up did a thorough job at making it appealing.)]

A different world? You're suggesting a theory of parallel universes — one not identical to our own, but modeled instead on a...game.

[An explanation missing critical pieces of evidence and with holes so wide you could drive a fire truck through sorry, Celes-san, but she might as well hear everything Naegi's got to say before arriving at any conclusions.]

How did we arrive here? There shouldn't have been anything about our previous circumstances that would've allowed for this. You were...do you remember where you were, Naegi-kun?
