Probably because Rude and Mondo share a lot of similarities, outside the whole 'quiet, silent and stoic' thing he has going. I mean, they both like fighting and they both care about their classmates/Turks. But yeah their CR is pretty awesome and I love seeing Mondo tags for Rude. He's found someone else who can hit hard and understands his passion for fighting.

That would definitely depend on how much of a brat Leon's going to be! I don't really have an idea of how this is going to go myself but given that in canon they were supposed to be good friends, I definitely see some potential for the two of them to go down that road.
