For sure just somehow happened. Joker was way too happy -giddy going by appearances in the beginning.

With that said Crocker just gave Joker a chance because;

They both saw their Pokemon as friends.
Snake, This was such a big reason. Crocker had been rather fond of Snake and knew this was a friend of his.

Of course, it went deeper that 'us weirdos' need to stick together.

Joker also has edge, which Crocker doesn't mind (but than he has edge), which Crocker noticed when Joker didn't seem to side-eye why Crocker was looking for Timmy or the fact when someone let slip they where in Team Rocket.

Slowly, but surely Joker's appearance of happy is starting not to bother Denzel as much because he knows that Joker can go a bit darker as well.

That makes Crocker one of the few people who knows/suspects Joker is not all he seems, ha ha.

Oh Botan, Denzel had whiplash with her. Kind of.

He had a feeling he'd like her when he saw her speaking to Hagakure. However, he took a step back in fear that she was death. (Which they worked though that.)
Basically he likes that she's weird and is open to strange things like he is and tolerating him! And she gave him something for a Christmas present.
Basically, he's very fond of her and doesn't want her involved in Rocket affairs or knowing that he is a Rocket. Because he totally has that in his head that will ruin everything now.

Oh, Saionji. It's so complicated!
They started out hating each and their hate lead to a common hate.
Whereas Crocker really likes her hate for humanity. Which he's slowly making expections here. But regradless, he's such a lacky when there's a more dominate villain. So despite being afriad of her at times and not liking the bullying but with his flaw of not being able to double-cross her, he's stealed his fate basically, XD. In other words going to end badly.

Jimmy, obviously Crocker does not like you. He still hasn't grown beyond hating children, as he hasn't found one that he doesn't mind yet. That and the happy. Jimmy, you are just too much with the happy! And super discouraging that his usual tactics that work on Timmy didn't work on Jimmy. Though it did prove it wasn't Timmy in one of his reality avoidance costumes.

Crocker isn't sure if Jimmy has fairies, after all there are worlds out there without magic. Also, the lack of a Cleffa. He's leaning more towards a no in that department but he'll keep an eye open just in case.

Meanwhile, he has to kidnap some Pokeymans and make some child unhappy.

Denzel is fine with Harry, the other man seems to be open to the supernatural and saved his Growlithe and forever graceful! Henry also believes people have second chances in life. So supportive is great!

The only thing that rubs Crocker the wrong way is that Henry has a kid...

1. Crocker never had any kids of his own with his beloved
2. Child hater

So he's trying to look passed that even if he does openly get bitter when the conversation goes that way.

All in all outside of that Crocker doesn't mind Harry and since Crocker is rather picky about people.
