Literal best friend John Egbert who would have thought. Seriously though, John is such a good influence for her, surprisingly(?) enough. He's stable and someone she can always talk to about anything. I think probably when they first started really hitting it off from her perspective would be when Joonhee left and John was like 'well just tell me about him!!!' and that was just. exactly what she needed. She just needed someone to listen to her and that's what John is fantastic at, listening to her.

John is basically her rock in Johto; he can still whip out stuff that surprises her (especially about his clusterfuck of a world), but for the most part, she feels like he's predictable and she knows what to expect from him. Basically she knows she can always count on him to be there for her -- after she punched him in the face and they're still friends, she figures there's not much she can say to him that would actually alienate him. And that's something else that's really, really important to her just based on her experiences here with other people.

tl;dr John (and co) have basically become her surrogate teammates/surrogate family. IT'S SO PRECIOUS I'M GONNA YELL.

impressions for nanami and aradia plz

Tenten likes her. Nanami comes in and has all this knowledge about the games, and if there's anything Tenten can respect, it's someone who knows their stuff. She wasn't sure what to expect at first considering that she first heard of Nanami via Leon who screamed like a little baby at the sight of her knives during the Nightmare Castle, but she thinks anyone who could know that much about Pokémon -- even if it's from the 'games', which she still only really understands in passing -- is pretty damn respectable. She really appreciates how straightforward Nanami has been with information, too; Tenten doesn't have much time or patience for riddles or people dancing around a topic, so when someone will just straight-up tell her what she wants to know, it's refreshing.

tl;dr they need to have more CR before I can really say more, but they've got a really good, solid start!

Tenten never really quite knows what to make of anyone from the Homestuck series tbh. On the surface they seem like one thing, but then dig even a little bit deeper and it's like holy fuck what the hell's just happened I thought you were kind of normal but you're actually a troll??? Uh??? That said, she really appreciates how helpful Aradia's been for her, what with explaining the Breeding Centre and just being willing to talk about anything Tenten's asked. She's still a little ambivalent just due to the fact that she's still trying to wrap her mind around the idea of human-like not-humans, and John's told her things about Alternia that kind of weird her out, but on the whole, Tenten's more likely to believe her own experiences than hearsay, and so far, her experience with Aradia has been overall positive! Plus she's friends with John, and in spite of John flat out telling her that he's not always the best judge of character, Tenten still kind of thinks that anyone John likes can't really be all that bad.

tl;dr I just need more CR with both your characters in general. They've both got a really solid base, and I look forward to building it more!

Tenten on Leon please!

LEON Tenten. honestly thought Leon was kind of crazy and possessed when she first met him back in Nightmare Castle. She still thinks he's crazy (I mean come on, they're just knives, Leon. Her favorite thing in the world), but she's grown to see him as not that bad of a guy after their last communication. She respects that he actually came to apologize to her -- she really wasn't expecting to ever hear from him again after all that nonsense, so getting to see him again -- and not in a creepy ass castle -- was a pleasant surprise!

tl;dr she'd like to get to know him better, but at least she figures that as long as she keeps her knives hidden, they could get along. She does want to know if there's a specific story behind the aversion to knives, though. Because who could be upset at the sight of a knife :C

yooooooo! casually takes five thousand years BUT ANYWAY

Tenten thinks Jade is fantastic. She doesn't always understand everything Jade says (just like all the Homestucks, really), but she loves Jade's positive attitude toward everything. Whether it's explaining things or just general conversation over a post, Jade's enthusiasm is infectious and kind of reminds her of home. (It's probably not a compliment for most people to be compared to Might Gai and Rock Lee, but from Tenten, in this case, it is.) And she's got to get her hands in Jade's hair some time, just to put it in as many styles as she can think of.

She still wants to figure out more about the game session, where she and the others came from, how she accidentally killed a friend -- but Tenten also understands that there's just some stuff about Jade's world that she's just not going to get, and she's kind of accepted that.

She also! wants to try fighting with Jade sometime. Sparring hand-to-hand (learning how to use a rifle during 4th wall maybe y/y???) or showing her how to use different improvised weapons.

Basically Tenten's really glad to have another girl around her age to hang out with!
