BUT ALRIGHT HERE WE GO, despite what Souda may think, Kuzuryuu DOES actually have a concept of survivor solidarity. Aside from the fact that they all went through some shit together, there's now the added bonus of the five of them knowing things that the others don't. Not only things that they don't know, but things that they CAN'T know, thanks to present circumstances. Because, really, what good would telling all the coma kids "hey so we joined a terrorist organization lead by a high school girl and destroyed the world with despair" even do in this world? Nothing, that's what. So the five of them are kind of bonded in secrethood, as far as Kuzuryuu is concerned.
Souda, however, is obviously one of the weaker links here. Like Kuzuryuu said when Souda first arrived, he cracks under pressure, sucks at lying, and has the unfortunate habit of running his mouth. All of these things do not exactly make for the best secret keeper. So though Souda has managed to secure a place on Kuzuryuu's very short trust list...he's admittedly at the bottom of it. At least for now.
Despite the fact that they did, and probably will continue to argue a fair bit, Kuzuryuu is starting to view Souda as something of a friend. He still doesn't understand how Souda, of all people, made it to the final five but it is what it is. At least he doesn't wish Souda HAD died or anything like that? It's just more "wow those sure are some odds you beat there, man. Good for you."
Though dear god, don't make him regret saying you could call him whenever you need him.
