MAN Heather just really loves her dad okay?

That's something that will never change. He's her family and ultimately the most important person in her life, even as she's trying to carve out her own path. The fact that she was able to get the closure that she never got to have before when he came to Johto is an enormous deal to her.

Of course, at the same time there's still a lot that she's hiding from him-- in a way that was influenced by what she went through without him both in Silent Hill and the time she spent alone in Johto. It's not based on not trusting him or wanting his support-- more based on feeling like she's reached a point where it would be unfair to rely on him for certain things.

They'll probably come to the surface eventually. :(

BUT TILL THEN she's happy to just continue making up for lost time-- while keeping some things to herself.
