What does Kuzuryuu go for in a non-Peko girl? Also, what's under his bed?

...It's possible to be attracted to girls other than Peko? WAIT NO THAT IMPLIES HE'S ATTRACTED TO HER AND HE'S NOT, SHE'S JUST VERY IMPORTANT TO HIM, OKAY? SHUT UP. GO AWAY.

No, okay to answer that more seriously...that's a tough one because I don't really see him as the sort to "go for" girls. In the sense of like..actively putting for the the effort to woo one, I mean. He can talk to girls just fine and everything (in fact, I'd even go as far as to say he has more meaningful relationships with girls than he does boys but that is another topic of discussion entirely) but he doesn't have much of a drive for romantic pursuits. Which is probably a combination of him being terrible at feeling/recognizing his own emotions half the time and being so driven towards proving himself/becoming stronger that something like that doesn't even make a blip on the screen of importance.

But from a purely objective standpoint of just HEY THIS IS SOMETHING I FIND APPEALING IN A LADY...Kuzuryuu tends not to have very strong opinions when it comes to things he likesor dislikes. Most everything kind of falls into this nebulous middle ground of "it's okay I guess" or "it's not okay I guess." He would also like a girl who's not TOO much taller than he is. His height or shorter is fantastic but having a couple of inches on him...he guesses he could be okay with that. Peko...gets to be an exception just by virtue of being Peko. She can be half a foot taller than him, that's okay. Other girls aren't allowed to tower over him like that though. I think he also likes girls with glasses and girls with a certain amount assets up top if you know what I mean. Which...makes it sound like I'm just describing Peko here but I'm not. I'm inclined to say that the glasses actually have nothing to do with her but were just a very pleasant surprise when she eventually ended up needed them. Boobs, on the other hand, are definitely at least slightly her fault since the puberty fairy seems to have been kind to her from the get go.

I think he's even less picky when it comes to a girl's personality. He definitely likes girls with a very mature air to them. They don't necessarily have to be older than he is, he doesn't go after cougars or anything but he just doesn't like people who act childish. Some degree of grace and elegance probably earn a girl some bonus points. But aside from that I don't think he cares too much, provided we're not dealing with a completely soulless monster here. Or somebody with absolutely no personality at all because that's boring.

As for what's under his bed...technically sometimes there is a monster under there. POCKET MONSTERS ARE TECHNICALLY MONSTERS, AFTER ALL. Anyway, cats will be cats, so his Persian can be found sleeping under there sometimes. She especially likes it under there because there's less of a chance of someone/mon bothering her and she's a cat after her own master in some ways. Other than that, he keeps his backpack under there when he doesn't need it but that's really it. And the only reason he keeps that down there is so that he knows where it is for when he DOES need it and also so it's not out in the open somewhere for people/pokémon to go rifling through. Not that...there's really anything all that exciting in there.

Back on the island he actually had a western-style bed, despite being one of the more traditionally-oriented characters (Peko and Saionji both had futons, why Kuzuryuu didn't as well, we just don't know) and it didn't LOOK like anything was under there but I wouldn't be surprised if some of his sweets hoard wound up under there. BECAUSE PUTTING IT RIGHT ON A TABLE IN FRONT OF THE WINDOW IS NOT MUCH OF A HIDING SPOT, KUZURYUU, EVEN IF THERE ARE CURTAINS. I like to think that was partially a game mechanics thing just so that you knew "hey, this loser hoards karintou and other junk food-y sweet snacks in his room" (much like how they put Hanamura's porno and tissues right...in the middle of the floor??? Okay, Spike.) The only reason he doesn't do something similar in route is because he shares a room with Hinata and Souda and that is a dumbass hiding place when you're living with other people. Especially when one of them is Souda.
