What you're looking for: More than anything, I just want to get Riku new CR. He's been around for ages and could stand to have a larger friend circle. But I'm equally up for rivalries and enemies, mentor figures... Riku may have experience in some areas, but he's still young, impulsive, and has a lot of learning to do. In fact, I'd actually kinda like to see his butt get kicked one of these days so he can grow from it. As a whole, he kinda has it easy. That, and he's kinda struggling to find a new goal to pursue.

Blurb: Riku is a Disney Princess and a loser.

But in all seriousness, Riku's a guy who likes to act cool, tough, and confident, but deep down he's a) a total softy at heart, b) prone to over thinking, and c) has heaps of uncertainty. Back home, he never stopped to smell the roses, always trying to become stronger, always seeking the outside world. A big fish in a little pond. While some of his wanderlust has faded and he's out of his egotistical phase, he has a lot of trouble holding still and without a goal is helplessly lost. He's at a point in his life where he's trying and failing to find new goals to achieve, having obtained all sixteen badges.

Plans: Overall, I don't have a whole lot planned for him right now. I do have a few post ideas-- one possibly inquiring about the new species/what people are calling them/anything they've discovered. Another idea was to discuss ways to make life more fulfilling outside of the usual training, badge collecting, and breeding routine. Because goals. What can he even strive for?

I may also tack on a PGC recruitment message onto one of his upcoming posts. For people who don't know, the PGC is a group designed to fight the forces of Team Rocket, but its numbers are steadily dwindling. If anyone's interested in getting involved with that, I'd be more than happy to throw up a general plotting post. And if the other PGC players have ideas or if Rockets wanna do something with the group at some point, that might be fun to work out, too. But that's up to the rest of you-- the group's supposed to be a joint-effort, and I definitely don't wanna dictate what everyone does.

Blurb: Carmen tends to get along best with people willing to have an intellectual conversation with her; that said, she's usually very easy to maintain a conversation with because she likes to talk to people, and especially likes to hear about what people are good at. As my roster goes, she's probably "Easy Mode" for CR; if you'd like to get her talking to you, feel free to suggest topics that might be best to get your character talking and I'll see if I can't get her onto the idea somehow!

Blurb: Parker tends to be more like Medium- to Hard-Mode difficulty as far as getting and holding CR; she's still not very good at being outwardly social herself, so she tends to do best with people who 1) don't mind her quirkiness and 2) can sort of roll with her occasional conversational flubs. She tends to be better with kids than she is with adults, she isn't fond of psychics (save Hagakure, who is the exception), and she's usually easiest to talk to when there's some kind of setting medium to help things along — a Pokemon to play with, an activity to participate in together, something she can be doing with her hands, that kind of thing.

Plans: Nothing particularly major, at the moment!

Location: Goldenrod City at the moment!

Blurb: Kirigiri is my other Medium-Difficulty character for CR; it's not generally hard to get her to talk to you, but the conversation will probably end up sounding more like an interrogation than anything else unless you can hit her right. With Kirigiri a lot of it is really just patience and time; I think she's likely to do better with long-term CR that gradually grows organically, as opposed to trying to fall in and be friends with her right from the get-go. She and the Dangans tend to be fairly insular when it comes to personal business, but her cross-canon CR has gotten her to open up before, and I'm willing to do it again if the legwork is there! She's gotten some great development out of it, and I'd like to see it continue.

Plans: I think we are going to play Dangans and Dragonites at the end of the month-ish, and her birthday is on the 6th of next month, so she'll have things to do for that!

Blurb: Schuldig is like Carmen in that he's Easy-Mode for CR; unlike Carmen, he's a lot snarkier and tends to be more adversarial, conversationally speaking. He's currently establishing an identity for himself as "Dietrich Jaeger", so he's all for making friends with some legitimately kind, good-hearted people under that persona because he'd like Dietrich to come off as a decent albeit slightly rough-edged guy. Meanwhile, on the Rocket side of things, he's been promoted to Private and is eager to keep working his way up the chain of command because he just plain likes starting trouble. For Rockets, he's likely to call himself a "facilitator" — if there's something you need done, he's a good guy to see about doing it. Also he's telepathic as far as Pokemon go, that's always fun.

Plans: Roadtripping around with Nagi and Lancer for the present, really. :|a

Basically a bodyguard who's a Frankenstein's monster that's also a teenaged girl with terrible social skills. Seriously, she doesn't know what to do around people that aren't trying to kill her. She can be really nice though, if you're nice too and get to know her.
Plans: She's currently making her way to Goldenrod, and plans after that are kind of unknown. I do want her to run into Team Rocket at some point though! That'd be fun to play out.

Blurb: Smug elitist aristocratic jerk mage prodigy who makes really dumb faces and has never faced difficulty in life before showing up in Johto, where he cannot use his fancy mage powers and is starting to have weird existential crises about it, along with being butthurt. Was a professor of sorts in his home world, so he's interested in figuring out how this place works (because it's challenging and... fun...). He's capable of coming off alright, but he still has some pretty elitist shithead views that he hasn't quite gotten rid of even after being stuck in Johto for two years.

Plans: I'm not sure if he'll be swarm chasing or not! He might stick around for Klefki, even.

Blurb: Hero wannabe from a grim future where there is only zombies. Naturally, she is incredibly upbeat and, frankly, just kind of ridiculous. Can seem a bit egocentric, but she means well. Also, she fucking loves LARPing. Also, she is gullible as fuck and is therefore a Rocket Grunt... though she's starting to think there's something shady going on there! But for now, she's cooking, yeah!!

Plans: There'll be a post later this week, and she'll be trying to go for the mobility HMs and badges. So, having beaten Falkner, she'll be challenging Morty, Jasmine, and Chuck! She'll be taking advantage of swarms, though I'm not sure if she's going to get through them all in a month.

Location: UHHH...kindof everywhere?? Jimmy and Joker have been bee-bopping all over Johto during the swarms, but as of right now it's probably safe to say he's in New Bark since they went to go pick up Beast.
Blurb: Jimmy is a kid from Hell. No, seriously. He hails from a town called Miseryville, which is actually- yes- Hell, and he just recently had some feelings about that (MORE BELOW). Generally though, Jimmy is about the nicest, happiest, brightest kid you'll ever meet. Hardly anything ever seems to get him down to an extent that might seem worrying, but it's ok that's just how he is.
Plans: So right now, Jimmy is traveling all around Johto with Joker as the Pokemon are swarming. Previously, at the end of August, he had a bit of an existential crisis over the fact that he's presumably a dead person who woke up in Hell for terrible things he did that he can't remember. It would appear that he's come to terms with it, if the way he bounced back is any indication, but it's likely that isn't really so. Talking helped, but that doesn't mean it solved the problem. ...Still, worrying about it won't help...right?

As for plans, I don't really have any set in stone for Jimmy at the moment, other than going after the swarms. Next month he'll be performing in the Circus as usual, but otherwise I don't know what he'll be doing yet. So if you'd like to plot something, let me know!

Blurb: Chihiro Fujisaki is a student (or former student, if you want to get...technical...) of Hope's Peak Academy, known as the Super High School Level Programmer. He's incredibly shy and softspoken, but during his time in Route he's starting to open up to people a bit more. He's been working on some different applications for the Gears between breeding projects, with the help of his Porygon Zip and his baby Whiz.
Plans: After John ended up leaving Johto, Chihiro decided that he was going to take a trip to Ecruteak to visit Rose at her home there. This would most likely happen next month, given that he's able to work up the courage to strike out on the trip on his own. He wants to try traveling by himself without anyone else going with him, for once, so we'll see how that goes.

Otherwise, I don't have any further plans for him yet! He's going to stay in Goldenrod all this month during the swarms, since he has a lot of Skiddo to take care of and find homes for right now. I'm open for any and all plotting with him!

Blurb: Nagi is a 15 year-old assassin who is one fourth of an assassin team known as Schwarz. They are all psychic, and Nagi is telekinetic. Or he used to be, at least. Stripped of his powers, he not long ago showed up in Johto. He’s played the games and is a massive nerd when it comes to Pokemon. Nagi is not exactly at all what you’d call a people person, and honestly he’d rather if you just…didn’t. His personal space is roughly the equivalent of several football fields, to give you an idea.
Plans: Ironically, Nagi is the one character of mine I have the most plans for at the moment. Right now he’s with Schuldig and Lancer in Azalea being assaulted by many small fire lions, but soon he’ll be in Violet City (if he isn’t there by now) to challenge Falkner in the pursuits of both getting his first badge and being able to fly. Afterwards, he’s going to head back to Goldenrod and get a Hoothoot with Fly as an egg move, and hang around in town until he’s trained it up and it has evolved into Noctowl. After that it will be time to be the best that no one ever was. We’re a perfectionist here, so the gyms have to be done in order, okay.

So that’s it for plans, but I’m up for plotting for sure! I’m hoping Nagi can run into a few of the new Rockets when he’s back in Goldenrod briefly, since it seems like a fair few have been showing up as of late. And of course he’ll be looking for a rematch with his ginger nemesis, Neku.

Plans: Right now Cobra's just busy catching and training Pokemon. Not exactly the world's most exciting thing, but if all goes well, he might have something to show for it, someday.

Blurb: A snarky, reckless, half-human half-demon teenage delinquent-turned-reluctant defender of humanity with deep-seated anger issues and the violent streak to match. Up until recently, Yusuke was what's known as a Spirit Detective back in his world; when demons or the occasional renegade human psychic threatened the living world (looking at you, Sensui), Yusuke was the person whom the guy in charge of the afterlife sent in to make hash of them. Because of this, and because of all the years he spent prior to becoming a Spirit Detective duking it out on the streets, he's pretty accustomed to being in dangerous situations and is a formidable fighter - hell, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that, in true shounen hero fashion, he practically lives for a good brawl. Aside from all of that, Yusuke is more or less your standard Jerk with a Heart of Gold: while he can be - and genuinely is, in many respects - an enormous asshole, he's also a lot softer on the inside than he lets on, with a streak of inner goodness that manifests itself most strongly in his devotion and loyalty to his friends... as well as in how many of your bones he'll splinter if he catches you picking on the weak and/or innocent.

Yusuke is also inexplicably awesome with children, even though they occasionally do stupid shit like walk right into traffic. Sigh.

Blurb: Pretty much, Juniper is the walking definition of the word "sweetheart." She is a meek and fragile girl who suffered (and still does, for that matter) from a poor constitution when she was younger, causing her to stay home and miss school often; as such, she's certainly inexperienced when it comes down to socialising with others, making her rather naive and slightly childish in the sense that she's kind beyond belief and always gives others the benefit of the doubt. She's also terrible at standing up for herself and somewhat relies on others, which...pretty much makes her an easy target for manipulation. And she has been manipulated, causing her to receive false charges against her name. She's pretty much a member of the "Multiple False Accusations Brigade" in the Ace Attorney franchise.

She values friendship to the utmost degree, so any friends that she make are sure to have her undying loyalty. Before Johto, she was a third-year student at Themis Law Academy in the judge course, so naturally she's a stickler for truth and justice. She hates it when others lie or be deceitful for their own personal gain. Other than that, she loves gardening, knitting, and sewing...and she has a beautiful singing voice, too. And she also loves cute things, especially plushies. She's a literal child.
Plans: Nah. She's still chilling in Goldenrod, but since she has a Skiddo now, there's a chance she'll be travelling to Ecruteak when it's a higher level.

What you're looking for: All kinds of things, really. So what I'll do is specify what I'd like for each character below.

Character
Name + Journal + Series: Dist the Rose (ortion) • Tales of the Abyss
Location: Goldenrod City
Blurb: He's a fabulous, egotistical, ridiculous, whiny mad scientist. He takes himself way too seriously and thinks he's better than everyone. He holds grudges like whoa too. In Team Rocket he's the Division Head of R&D Division D where he does all sorts of evil science.
Plans: Right now he's focusing on building up Division D and finding people to work for/with him on stuff so he can make himself look good. If your Rocket wants something built or wants to test out the latest science project, Dist and his division are up for that! I've got a few new personal project ideas in mind that I hope to get up and running soon.

CR-wise I'd like for Dist to get to know new Rockets and build up on all his existing CR! For new CR, Dist is pretty versatile, but you're likely to get on his good side of you're into science and beautiful things...and maybe revenge too, that would be a good bonding subject. He's pretty easy to annoy and very easily annoying himself, so negative CR could happen that way!

Blurb: A mostly incoherent mess, Hagakure is the Super High-School Level Fortune Teller. He's a firm believer of all types of fortune-telling, cryptids, aliens, government conspiracies, ancient supercultures, and all things unexplained. His work and interests are purely scientific and not occult, mind you! He's really carefree and decently easy to get along with, but is also slightly mysterious at times. He's a self-proclaimed Psychic-type trainer.
Plans: I kind of want to have him do a little bit of traveling soon, maybe up to Ecruteak or something. Maybe someone could encourage him to start doing the badge thing too? He's a trainer, so he really should actually get on that eventually. Anybody looking for travel partners? c:

CR-wise I can throw Hagakure at pretty much anything, so I'm open to a lot for him! It's a major bonus if your character is into Psychic types or fortune-telling though! He tends to confuse people by talking about his profession a lot, along with weird occult topics that are definitely not occult to him, so that's something that could be played with. Another thing is he absolutely hates ghosts, so interactions with Ghost-type lovers could prove to be hilarious. IDK man there are a lot of options here!

Location: Goldenrod City, though he may start traveling in the near future for badges and whatnot.
Blurb: A huge asshole who doesn't really care about other people's feelings and likes to Be Important. He may seem fine at first but it's not too difficult for him to reveal his true colors. Gets asspained when others do better than him. All that said...he's also a doctor and skilled fighter. Who would've imagined that?
Plans: I'm currently getting him settled into the game, so right now he's in the middle of Rocket initiation. Once he's done with that I'd like him to get out and about the region to see what it's all about. He'll be doing Rocket business along the way, of course.

CR-wise I'd like for him to get to know more Rockets. I'm going to throw up his first post tomorrow so hopefully that can happen! He's really curious about this world and the experiences of others at the moment, so his CR-building potential is good. Since he is who he is, I'd really like to get some negative CR going with him. If you're looking for that, I can give more info about him to see if anything can be worked with to initiate it!

BUT SERIOUSLY Idk where you plan to have Neku in the future-ish, but if you do wanna try for a rematch once Nagi is in Goldenrod grinding to train up his Hoothoot, I'd be all for that

and in all honesty I'm probably actually going to do a post with his Pumpkaboo being a physical hazard in the base if you'd like that to also be a thing (and he'll probably have his Pumpkaboo by the time he gets back to Goldenrod so YAY FOR BABY POKEMON CAUSING PROBLEMS, or exacerbating existing ones)

Blurb: A Disney Queen who could control snow and ice but can't anymore. Elsa's a pretty sweet girl who loves her babby sis and is recovering from a lot of anxiety and self-esteem issues. But she's doing good! C: And getting better slowly. She's kind of awkward around people sometimes and she's not used to talking to people casually outside of her queen persona, so this whole thing will be... interesting for her.
Plans: Nothing solid right now! She'll probably be in Violet for a while, since Anna will be challenging the gym there, but other than that, I have no solid plans for her! Edit: RIGHT she'll def be in Violet for the Spritzee swarm, so she'll be happy to help people out with that. The only thing she'll ask for in return is either the money for a Pokeball or just. A Pokeball. :C She only has the ones she started out with right now.

...The sad thing is, between his old Dark Knight sword abilities and the way he ends up getting most of his best weapons (i.e. horrible boss fights), stolen life energy will be a pretty mild risk as far as he's concerned. If he ever says the blades are perfectly harmless, don't listen.

I'd be interested to see how Nagi would respond to Hagakure sometime, actually. Not that he'd be particularly blown away by his Hagakure...ness, but hey you actually appreciate Psychics so maybe you're not a complete waste of existence
