And he doesn't subscribe to what some of the other kids said, that Cynthia isn't his "real" daughter; just because she came from a different timeline absolutely does not mean that he wouldn't treat her like his kid. Honestly, Henry worries a lot about how well he's done with Cynthia; every time he thinks ahead and realizes "I was responsible for the raising and teaching of this child," he suddenly gets extremely scared. He knows that he's messed up in a lot of ways, some intentional and some not. He just doesn't want Cynthia to turn out anything like him.
