I AM ALL FOR THE SPECIAL COBRA DIVISION OF THE CORPS.

(Which is mostly because Carmen finds him the easiest to troll, but I digress.)

Re: Kimblee, I figured it'd be worth threadjacking dropping in here to point out that Carmen has linked his Gear ID to the Kimono Girls attacks, if nothing else, and I believe still has the proof of it. At Dal's request, she's been keeping it under wraps and isn't likely to act on it herself, but in the event that a "take down Kimblee" operation ever did come up, you can bet she'd show up to give the heroes a vigilante hand in it.

WELL THEN. If such an overwhelming majority wants a Cobra Squad, who am I to say no? x3 (and what are you talking about; trolling is totally a legit reason.)

I'll be sure to keep that in mind if such a plot ever comes up. :3 It would certainly earn Carmen quite a few brownie points from Miss Lineface over here, though she wouldn't be too appreciative that Carmen sat on the info for so long. Not with such a threat running loose. x3 but she'll deal, eventually.

But yeah, I really don't mind if Lightning is perpetually linefacey and somewhat mistrustful of Carmen, because by all rights she probably should be — moral or not, she's still pretty decidedly not a hero, and doesn't want to be. So basically, while she's never actually going to join the Corps, I'm in no way averse to having her pop up on occasion and support or inform for them, since they usually have a lot of the same goals, albeit coming from entirely different perspectives.

Lightning can easily accept that; like you said, they have the same goals. Even if she's going to be wary of Carmen for a long time, they can work together and if things get done, either via her help or intel she got? Things will work out just fiiiiine. :3 besides, nobody gets along perfectly with everybody.
