MOD PLOTS:
→ A special swarm will begin on the 23rd of October and last until the 28th. More information will be given out soon!
→ The mods are holding a tournament in November. The timeline is currently unknown (it depends on how many participants we have) but we anticipate it going for a good chunk of November!

I'm currently thinking of something along the lines of Wikipedia or some such where people could post and edit whenever they feel like it. Though with the limited network the PokéGears it may need to be something simple. I was thinking of a possible private server but for both of those someone would need to maintain it all and such, and that someone would need a good deal of knowledge about software. Hope can certainly do that but is there anyone else? Also idk maybe a filter just for the nerds to spare other people from the immense nerdery that's sure to happen.

For the fMRI... well that'd be a little tougher considering the materials needed and such. He could do it, yes, but he'll definitely need a lot of time and help with it.

Sticking my nose in here because this is one of Director Beansprout's interests!

Hope's been to the Ruins about two years ago game-time, but his notes are all outdated and such. He'll definitely be making a second visit to update his research when he gets to Violet-- probably the end of the month or early of next, depending on when he can beat Bugsy and how quickly he and Lightning can travel. Or how well Silver and I can map out their path.

If Kayneth and/or Reid are in the area by that time, I'd definitely be open to some shenanigans manly teaming up.

Just passing through to observe that Carmen canonically does computers like a wizard (and her Porygon does, too) so if you don't get any more bites, I can always put them up for the cause. o/

Or I mean, heck, as far as maintenance goes, someone could always just catch a Porygon and train it to do nothing but administrative nerd computer duties. All things considered that'd probably work, too.

Considering Hope and Lightning are practically attached at the hip, you can expect him to come along as cavalry with his sis if she gets wind of anything.

I like the idea, though, it seems Sachiko is eternally pissed. Perhaps some kind of chain message to the pokegear?

Reid can do hardware, but everything but the most basic of software (and what little he's picked up from Garcia) is totally lost on him. Someone else would probably need to deal with that.

Luckily, Reid has ideas of using Pokemon to their advantage. At the very least, they can make magnets as powerful as they need to be using a high-level electric-type and a high-level ice-type. And steel- and fighting-types (and cannibalized computer parts) should be able to help out with the actual construction.

That'd be great! Albert's managed to collect a fair number of the berries himself, though I forget which ones in particular, but naturally more samples are never a bad thing.

My only concern would be, like you said, how we'd get Albert and Apollo talking about it, considering Albert's general temperament and his current track record with making people angry about how he behaves toward his Pokemon. So that's something we'd have to find a way to work out! But I'm definitely open to brainstorming to see if we can come up wtih something.

Well unless he knows anyone else who won 3rd place and didn't use the Sitrus Berry right away, Apollo's the only game in town for that one, since I remember reading that they don't grow in Johto or Kanto. Now he just needs to get a Lum Berry from somewhere and he'll be growing the whole set.

Yeeeeaaaah, Albert's kinda prickly, to say the least. Apollo will prolly make a post at some point asking if anyone else knows how to grow them and why they're not turning out like the original, so maybe Albert can pounce on that and try not to be a dick long enough for Apollo to ship some samples to him? idk

He does, actually! Hiccup won 3rd place once and is attempting his own growing experiments, so it might be that Albert's had the opportunity to be clued in to that one. But like I said, more samples are never a bad thing. o/

TO SAY THE LEAST, sob. And I can definitely have Albert keep an eye out for the post, though I can make no promises about his relative level of dickery when it comes to discussing them. Either way, I'll do my best to get something in progress!

Sounds good to me. I still don't really know how he'll end up getting caught, so that's still an open deal... but after he's found out, that would work just fine!

And yes, it would probably be for the best if it's Ryuunosuke rather than overpowered Archer. What better excuse to chase someone down than doing it for the team?

Hope can definitely do it because he's handled all sorts of operations and projects at home though it'd really be best if there were more to keep characters from burning out or muns from forgetting (which is the worst thing especially with this 8[!!) hence my question.

I got three of those types covered, though they're not high-leveled yet. Almost there though, and Hope has a level 100 Blastoise anyway for the heavy lifting.

I love horror games, so I'll probably be all over that when I get half the chance. I've been looking for a new one to play anyway.

Oh, yeah, maybe a chain message and people who do or don't do a certain thing get drawn to a place somewhere isolated? I'm guessing there'd have to be multiple available places, since some areas are really far away from others, but...

Oh, oh, are we using the Ghost World/spirit world in Route? Like the Ghost World that Litwicks are said to lead people to? Maybe the ghost pokemon could get together and lure people there.

Twilight is, of course, all over this particular initiative. She's more used to working solo or under the supervision of her mentor than she is to working in an actual group, but she's open-minded and always eager to share her findings. She just might have to have it directly pointed out to her that maybe working with someone else on a particular experiment might be a good idea.

Notes directly related to Pokemon and their abilities are her primary focus (for now anyway) with a side interest in legends. She also occasionally does experiments just based on a subject she's recently gotten stuck in her head (like the one where she tested repel's effects, which ended up with a Zubat in her hair). And since one of her most powerful pokemon is a Kadabra, she'll have lots to contribute on the subject of Psychic-types.

I like the idea of a chain mail....most characters would ignore it, thus invoking the curse.

Hmm...the problem is that I want Nobita to get involved, but he's gullible+cowardly+superstitious enough to actually respond to chain mails. So maybe responding just puts you at an advantage compared to others? (Or a disadvantage if you want to be mean/mindscrewy)
