Location Vermillion City, where he'll be for the length of the tournament. After that, he'll probably head back to Johto and go to Azalea.
Blurb: Smug elitist jerk mage prodigy who makes really dumb faces and has never faced difficulty in life before showing up in Johto. Was a professor of sorts in his home world, so he's interested in figuring out how this place works. He's capable of coming off alright, but don't get him talking about class or caring about other people or whatever... or maybe do, since welp negative CR. (Or maybe positive CR, if your character would agree with his shithead views on how aristocracy is awesome and the common person is shit.) Might be a little more openly dickish because he's grumpy about losing the tournament, but.
Plans: Once he gets back to Johto he'll be heading to Azalea to get back on the Gym Battle wagon and to check out Pokeballs in Azalea. I intend to canon update him in the far future, but that probably won't be another... uh... six months or so. Once winter hits properly he'll probably be staying in one place, though I'm not sure where that will be...

...also, as another plan type thing for eligible (and ineligible) batchelorettes: Kayneth is traveling partners with Armstrong, and Typhie and I have been planning for Armstrong to try and play matchmaker and find him a lady friend! It is very unlikely that this will lead to an actual ship since Kayneth's hung up on some chick who isn't currently in the game and doesn't love him and... well... he's Kayneth, but gosh darnit is Armstrong going to try!

Yeah, they're finally in the same city! I'd be up for them meeting up at some point, and I've seen the other thread-I'd totally be okay with Ryner and Tokiomi being in that meetup as well.

Well, since they're in Vermillion they may as well chat there! Unless things somehow go horribly and Kayneth comes out of it hating everyone (doubtful, given that he doesn't have that much of a temper) they could potentially meet up again in Goldenrod in the future.

I actually had this idea, although I wasn't sure what age range you interpreted Twilight Sparkle to be in since it struck me as kind of vague within the series itself and I doubt Armstrong would try hooking Kayneth up with anyone younger than twentysome.

...I may have a secondary motive for asking this, jsyk...

No worries there, I've always considered the Mane Cast to be either late teens or twenty somethings at the start of the show, and since Twilight's canonically had at least one birthday I have no trouble saying she's twenty.

Yeah, I figured that, considering most of them seem to live on their own and seem to be roughly the same age as the town's schoolteacher, but given how they might pitch things for the target audience I figured I'd ask.
