Fanservice/Kink Meme

They're both awesome memes, so why not just slap them into one?

HOW THIS WORKS:

I will make a post with this account for anonymous kink requests. These requests don't actually have to be sexual--ask for a picture of a slowpoke nomming on someone's pants or a fic of Johto turning out to be an artificial reality ran by GLaDOS, whatever you like--but they're requests that people can anonymously or openly fill. For courtesy's sake, try to fill out as many other requests as you make.

FOR THE FANSERVICE, THE RULES:

1. Post with your characters.
2. Reply to other characters (anon or openly) asking for scenes/pairings/what have you to be played out between that character and someone else. Self requests are A-Okay, and requests can be sexy or gen or whatever. We don't judge.
3. Play the requested scenes out! Or if no one's requested from you, sit back and enjoy the other requests.
4. Respect each other's limits, but don't bug people for what they ask for. Remember, we're all here to have fun! So go and have fun.

For the sake of clarity, an example:
X's Post
Someone's reply: 'X and Y play a card game.' or something like 'X and Y play a card game in a massive poker tournament and the loser gets eaten by sharks.'
And then X goes and tags Y and they play the scenario.

Go forth, and have lots of cracky fun!

Brilliance deserves a reward.

[And for the whole of that minute, she simply watches him, intent and fascinated and fully standing by the statement she's just made. It doesn't take a genius to see that he is brilliant, but in her own way, she can understand where his shyness stems from, too. She remembers what it was like to never quite fit in with her peers, feeling more comfortable with books and facts, learning volumes upon volumes of trivia while never quite perfecting the more everyday pursuits of interacting with others. She doesn't know the details of how Reid dealt with the experience in his own youth, but it's clear he didn't cope in the way she chose. He withdrew, became guarded, learned to escape notice — and she simply decided to stand out so much that they couldn't help but take notice.

She likes to fix problems, and Reid himself is a problem to solve, just as much as their choice of locale was. Fortunately, there are some facets of this one that are almost as easy as their setting was — because he is brilliant, and that's always been something she's loved in the people she's tempted into chasing her.

She watches him think, rapt and attentive, and there's a beautiful moment when she can almost see it click.

The request to close her eyes, on the other hand, she doesn't see coming. And that's entertaining in a completely different way.]

Surprise me, then.

[She makes sure he's watching before very deliberately closing her eyes.]

[Carmen would have probably chosen to disappear under Reid's circumstances, or at least become a hell of a lot more embittered. He was more than the lonely child who didn't quite fit in--he was the tall poppy that had to be cut down. His peers were happy to do it, and his teachers were happy to sit idly by and watch.

He grins, then he takes out what he needs, fills a highball glass halfway with ice, and starts mixing. It's too bad that she can't see him, because while his body on a whole is clumsy and awkward, he's good with his hands, and his movements are fluid. And then the glass is in front of her, cola variant.]

You can open your eyes now.

[And to think how he might've thrived in a childhood environment like hers. No friends, perhaps — that's one common denominator between the two stories — but in a system devoted to bringing out his best, not crushing him underfoot. She might not be the greatest thief in the world, if he'd led a life like hers. ...Well, if they'd ended up in the same world to begin with, that is.

She keeps her eyes closed, but she's certainly listening as he works — the clinking of ice, the pop of containers and the burbling of liquid — and even if she can't see it, she knows these aren't the movements of someone hesitating or nervous.

But to open her eyes when he tells her to, well. She'd said "Surprise me", and while seeing is believing, there are other senses of hers that she could put to good use.

So rather than doing as she's told, she frees one arm and sweeps her hand lightly along the counter until she finds the familiar curve of a highball glass, adjusts her hold and raises it carefully to her lips.

And the sudden rush of cherry and cola and cold on her tongue is all the more pronounced because it comes with the equally delicious surprise that he got it right, and frankly that's a treat in and of itself.]

Very good.

[The rim of the glass still lightly touching her lips, she slides her eyes open, looking for all the world like a very satisfied cat.]

Not that there was ever any doubt of that.

[She might not have ended up the best thief in the world. Then again, she might have ended up with the best detective in the world on her tail.

Seeing her so satisfied makes him feel satisfied in turn, partially because he got it right and partially because he just likes to make people happy. He leans against the edge of the counter again, taking a sip of his wine.]
You know, I don't think anyone's asked me to guess their drink of choice before.

[But it was a fun challenge, and Reid really likes challenges that don't involve violence in some form or another.]

I don't think anyone else would've gotten it right. But you make it look simple.

[There's a compliment in there, but it's one arising out of simple fact. She likes to see people's talents on display, and crossing paths with someone like Reid is a rare and precious opportunity — one she knows better than to waste.

She takes another sip, musing to herself, then glances in the direction of the bar entrance, where a freestanding coatrack is tucked into a corner. Casually, she slides off her hat and shakes out her hair, adjusting her hold on the brim — and then flicks her wrist like she's throwing a discus, sending the hat arcing across the room to land fairly accurately atop the rack.

Lest anyone forget she's got a few tricks up her sleeve, too.]

[Oooh, nice trick with the hat. Reid follows the arc of the hat until it lands, predictably right where she meant it to go.]

The physics there were very precise. Where'd you learn how to do that?

[Yep, he broke it into physics in his brain. SCIENCE NERD! 8D ]

Lots of practice. And a little bit of zen training.

[Hold to the point of most tension, Carmen. The arrow will fall from you when it is ready. She'd had a good teacher in her old partner, Suhara.]
