My tl;dr skills are horrible, but the words just didn't stop coming...
I'm sorry for being such a huge fail with tagging. I've meant to tag her posts, but then ...... time flies and I feel bad, because this muse wants more threads with Menma and she misses her too! ;_;
But yessss, Goldenrod♥ Mitsuki will cry her eyes out as soon as she hears that Souji went home during 4th wall weekend, but seeing Menma should cheer her up~. And Menma is going to get a big hug too!♥ So proud of that heaven thing, ffffff.
Ren has had his eyes on Utau from the very first meeting. She's this mysterious flower who shelters herself with her icy thorns. You'd think that her cold attitude towards him in the beginning would have made him back away and leave her be, but it's actually the opposite that happened. Something about her told him that he shouldn't leave her alone. He's not really sure why he felt that way, but he's following his feelings without questioning it.
Though it seems that he didn't even need to make moves towards her, since she seems to appear to places where he is. At the department store and later when he was performing. He's seen that she's sad underneath or cold attitude and that's what's making him more determined that he should be there for her. It's not really in the romantic note just yet, it's just that he's worried about her and wants to be someone she can trust. That's why he's showing her that he's willing to trust her and tries to tell (vaguely, at least) about his feelings on the situation they're. At the same time he's trying to see her true feelings, but he doesn't expect that to happen anytime soon.
While I said that he doesn't hold romantic feelings just yet... well, it's more that he's trying to ignore them. He knows that if he'd say something like that to her it might push her further away and that would ruin everything that has been built. So he's taking a more careful approach on it. The more he gets to see her different sides of her, the more he feels like she could be someone he'd want to stay at her side. At least as a friend for now.
Though yes, he's nice to other women even while she's around, since that's just how he rolls. It's also kind of a way to not let his extra feelings show to her so she wouldn't get suspicious. When they're alone he acts casually and really tones his flirting down, since she doesn't really respond. I believe he's tried and been shot down several times.
tl;dr Utau is important for him and for some reason, even mystery to him, he feels like he shouldn't let her be alone. He's used to her cold and accepts it as part of her, even if he wishes she'd show more of her other sides. There may also be some deeper feelings hidden.
Despite that he doesn't want to leave her alone, he's trying to get out of Team Rocket one day... but that's not right now. Then again, it might be for the best if they gain some distance, because Ren lives a dangerous life (in his opinion, at least).
To be completely honest, Ren thinks Cobra is a loud idiot with a poor fashion taste. He feels like he should facepalm every time he sees a post from Cobra. Then again, his attitude is sort of amusing sometimes.
Despite him being loud and annoying, he's trying to pay close attention to what he says because there might be important information to give out (especially on the feeds that are locked for Rockets) and while he talks with him there's always a poker face things going on so he doesn't seem suspicious around him.
Even if his first thoughts on Cobra are what they are, he doesn't really want to get on his bad side. He does seem dangerous when he wants to be. So as much as he amuses him it's also for his own protection that he's trying to avoid any sort of suspicion.
There's really no respect from him to Cobra, even if he pretends that there is for reasons.
Aidou's glad he hasn't met Gordon much after the very first meetings they had. While he seems like a responsible guy who's thinking about the best of everyone (or so it seems to him) he's just too much to handle. Really, if the guy wasn't so loud he'd probably talk with him about the situation (while Aidou doens't look like it, he can talk about things seriously and try to come with solutions). Maybe if he'd just use the text function, he'd be willing to try, but oh god why does it always have to be an audio (or a real meeting).
He really doesn't hate Gordon, he's just too annoyed with him most of the time to care about him too much.
That... that is actually a pretty good summary of how I see him, too. A knight that needs cuddles. Lots and lots of cuddles. If they talk a bit more and they meet face-to-face, he'd even be okay with her hugging him after a fashion.
Albert is super happy that Coop is around while he does the Move Into The Justice Farm thing because moving into new houses is crazymaking and god knows someone needs to be there for all of those hilarious moments when Albert can't find the coathangers or forgets which drawer the scissors are in and so on and so forth. BROS.
Losing Kiki during her Month Of Being Away has basically just exacerbated Carmen's WHAR IS MY DETECTIVE :C thing and she is very lonely and also gdi Coop get back in her life already WHY DID SHE EVER THINK SPLITTING THE PARTY WAS A GOOD IDEA BECAUSE IT TURNS OUT THIS IS ACTUALLY VERY STUPID and she misses regular smooches.
For some odd reason despite having been around her for months, he's still tiptoeing around her. Not that I can blame him because awkwardddd but still. As the older person he feels like it's his turn to watch for her even if she's the soldier and he's the lab man. But then she is the soldier and he's the lab man so he's really not the best protector in the world so that's a thing.
Bottom line is he's still wondering how he should be around Light. ... Himself of course but he knows he's a pretty different deal than he was before.
Yeah, it's really interesting because one of the (subtle) signs that Albert really likes Reid is that his insults will never be directed at Reid personally. He might say something to the effect of "you did something stupid", but it won't be "you are stupid". BECAUSE HE'S NOT. He's just one of those gifted agents who occasionally needs Albert's brand of kick in the head, and Albert is always happy to deliver.
And while I have no doubt that Carmen will keep trying to knock Reid off-balance when the opportunity arises, she won't press him to the point of outright discomfort. It's funny to watch him squirm and fluster a little, but she'd know when to stop if it came to that. She does the same thing herself, when people get a little too close, except her response to discomfort is usually to disappear, and Reid's probably not as adept of an escape artist as she is.
Coop's missing Carmen a great deal right now, so she's not at all alone in that respect. He's pretty damn attached to her by now really so it kind of sucks not getting to be physically attached, especially in light of recent sadness. Cause it also posed as a reminder that oh hey she could disappear any day TOO, and he'd just really like to see her again so that reunion is going to be very epic probably.
ALBERT has thusly probably had to deal with one or two sigh/longing gazes out windows or something which I'm sure has annoyed him but Coop's super glad to just hang out with him, too - there's a new element to that and all since they've mostly just worked together before but there's NOT THAT MUCH WORK in Route by comparison, and Coop's pretty damn happy about his in a slightly obnoxious way (but Albert loves him anyway amirite).
Slowly, Reid's actually realizing that, since he observes more personal insults coming from Alfred when he's talking to/about other people than he does when they're speaking to each other. After a couple more months (because he is one insecure man and it actually takes him that long to understand that he is cared about if he's not slammed over the head with a sledgehammer), signs like that will build up and give him a more solid understanding of the fact that Alfred actually likes him on a personal level as well as a professional level. And then he'll get even more secretive about the source of his migraines and aversion to painkillers...
Reid's response is usually to clam up like a boss and evade like hell. But he can deal with teasing, and if she respects his limits, he'll gradually become more and more comfortable with her. Once he knows exactly how to predict a person, his comfort level skyrockets, so a lot of conversations and time knowing each other will contribute to that.
