The All-Purpose PokéMeme!
THE ALL PURPOSE POKéMEME
We've had plenty of memes about our characters in the past, so why not something a little different? After all, Pokémon is a huge part of what makes Route so special.
Feel free to use this meme to:
- Talk about your characters' teams!
- Plot for Pokémon CR
- Discuss any headcanon you have about certain species or Pokémon in general
- Discuss ideas for Pokémon related shenanigans
- Take suggestions if you're struggling with a Pokémon's personality, what Pokémon to get your character, or anything else!
The sky's the limit, folks, so have at it!

I chose Starly for him during the 4th wall because I thought their personalities would mesh well: Cool and calm at nearly all times, they are also very sociable creatures, although they may bicker if their group becomes too big. Starly's calls are known to be very strident. And it was great! I was like, yes. Starly. Perfect fit for this guy. So when I wound up apping I decided I'd go with Starly for his actual starter, but then I realized I wanted him to wind up with a bird he'd have to really, really work with if he wanted it to cooperate. Then I threw in a dash of crazy for funsies, and thus Waldo came into being. He's prone to freaking out over nothing (this is what Harry's observed so far, anyway—he can't tell what sets Waldo off, but he's trying) and attacking his poor trainer as a result of his fear/anger/other strong emotion. Luckily, Waldo can't fly (he waddles! IT'S ADORABLE!), so Harry doesn't really have to worry about anything above his knees getting injured unless he is, for some reason, on the ground.
When something is entrusted into Harry's care, he takes that responsibility very seriously. For that reason, he may think Waldo is a few nuts short of a fruitcake, but he loves the little bird already. With some training, Waldo should start to calm down and his personality should start to stabilize. Right now, he's a bit all over the place. His most notable moment thus far was that time he bird-cursed out Carmen Sandiego. Yup.
And then there's Henry, whom Harry caught because he Felt Bad. He wanted to see what battling was like, so of course Waldo decided to focus for once and totally kicked some poor Sentret's behind. After it fainted, Harry kind of stood there like... crap. And out came the pokéball.
Henry is pretty much the opposite of Waldo, as far as Harry can tell. He's calm, has a fairly serious disposition, would rather cuddle Harry's leg than peck it to the point of bleeding, and doesn't much seem to care for battling. Harry is totally fine with all of this.
Cheria just gave Harry a Cleffa egg, which should hatch in a few days. Her name is going to be Clara and she is going to be the most adorable thing ever and he is going to shove her in EVERYONE'S FACE BECAUSE LOOK AT HIS BABY, SHE IS SO GODDAMN CUTE.
In conclusion: tl;dr harry still doesn't understand these things but whatever, he's dealing.
