The All-Purpose PokéMeme!
THE ALL PURPOSE POKéMEME
We've had plenty of memes about our characters in the past, so why not something a little different? After all, Pokémon is a huge part of what makes Route so special.
Feel free to use this meme to:
- Talk about your characters' teams!
- Plot for Pokémon CR
- Discuss any headcanon you have about certain species or Pokémon in general
- Discuss ideas for Pokémon related shenanigans
- Take suggestions if you're struggling with a Pokémon's personality, what Pokémon to get your character, or anything else!
The sky's the limit, folks, so have at it!

Out of all of Heather's Pokemon, Godzilla is the only one to actually have a major development arc, so this could get a little long.
TL;DR: Godzilla started out as a spoiled brat and then shit went down and he felt awful about it and now he's kind of a worrywart.
Background: Heather received Godzilla as an egg in a trade, and he proved to be a feisty little thing even moments after hatching-- resisting any and all attempts to be removed from his egg once it started to crack. Hey, who could blame him? It's comfy in there and you don't have to do anything but sleep!
As he grew up, he was rather precocious, but incredibly immature and entitled, something that eventually caused the rest of the team to grow somewhat disdainful of him. Although Heather didn't actively baby him much or encourage the bad behavior, she didn't really do much to stop it either and as a result, Godzilla grew up with a somewhat inflated sense of self-importance, actively refusing to evolve on account of wanting to stay 'the baby' forever. Naturally, he started growing somewhat resentful when he was no longer the youngest on the team and in fact had no business behaving like a spoiled brat anymore. This eventually came to a head during a Team Rocket plot resulting in water Pokemon being driven mildly crazy by a radio broadcast-- although not normally an aggressive Pokemon, Zilla grew upset that Heather wasn't paying attention to him for like five minutes and promptly bit her arm full-force.
The aftermath of that was his subsequent shunning by the rest of the team (at least for a little while) and his after-the-fact realization that... holy shit, he was such a little CREEP.
Current Relationship: After a period of doing everything in his power to earn Heather's favor back (ranging from sulking a little over how "bad" he was to genuinely making attempts to be a better Pokemon), Zilla eventually decided that as part of showing he'd 'grown up', he should evolve-- which he did! Although Heather remained wary of him for some time after the bite, she is back on good terms with him again and delighted by his evolution, even though she doesn't quite get why his behavior changed so drastically after the one violent episode.
He continues to search for other ways to improve himself and be a better Pokemon, and frequently worries about the safety of his trainer and his team-mates, ironically fretting over the immature stunts Heather pulls sometimes the same way she used to worry about what HE got into whenever she wasn't looking.
Noticeable Traits: He's fairly rotund and still retains quite a bit of his baby-fat despite his evolution. Despite his better behavior, he's still pretty fond of food and occasionally takes more than his fair share...
Plots and Ideas: Godzilla is fairly naiive and insecure and ... in fact very susceptible to suggestion, whether the source is trusted or suspicious. I'd love to play with that some more, particularly since he's still prone to falling all over himself trying to make up for his past misdeeds. Shitty advice (whether intentional or unintentional) could result in some pretty interesting development! Let me know if anyone's interested in having their Pokemon interact with him.
