Sunny the Togekiss

Sunny is what would happen if a mad scientist tried to create a creature crossed between a hang-glider and a giant happy marshmallow. Although Carousel and Claudy both have a motherly side to them, Sunny is the true Mama of the team (and, by extension, anyone who Heather remotely hangs out with). Sunny loves everybody. You are all her babies.
All of you.
Yes, even you, Heather.

Background: Originally, Sunny was the starter of a close friend, who left her to Heather when he departed from Johto. Deep down, Sunny still misses her original trainer, but operates under the philosophy that happiness is achieved through spreading as much love as possible, so that's what Sunny proceeded to do. She is particularly close to Cujo, who she remembers playing with as a Togepi back when they were just itty bitty baby level-5's.

Current Relationship: Despite Sunny's cheerful, compliant demeanor, the truth is that she's not really under Heather's control at all, playing the part of a surrogate parent far more than a pet to be summoned and dismissed at will. After a certain incident last summer, Heather remains somewhat in the doghouse with Sunny, who has mostly forgiven her but has put a giant fluffy taloned foot down on Heather's flying privileges (unless she gets her father's permission first!). Which sort of sucks, because Sunny is the only large, flight-worthy Pokemon that Heather has. Whoops. But it's for her own good. Sunny knows best!
Otherwise, Sunny continues to mother everybody, and although she is rarely used in battle (she is a remarkably pacifist Pokemon and prefers to dole out big soft Owl Hugs than fight), at level 100, she is secretly the strongest Pokemon in Heather's roster. Which means that anyone attempting to do genuine harm to her Trainer and/or team-mates are in for a very unpleasant surprise.

Noticeable Traits: The only thing anyone really needs to know about Sunny is that she is pretty much the owl equivalent of a Totoro. That is all.

Plots and Ideas: Sunny is made of cuddles and sunshine. If your character is Heather's friend and they look even REMOTELY down, they will be subject to Owl Hugs if they are in the immediate vicinity.
