We've had plenty of memes about our characters in the past, so why not something a little different? After all, Pokémon is a huge part of what makes Route so special.

Ace

Background: Ace was Riku's very first Christmas egg, almost two years ago. When she first hatched, she was a sassy, but happy-go-lucky Lucario who saw past her trainer's rough spots from the start. As Riku's first female Pokémon, she took it upon herself to act as the brains of the team, despite being much smaller and weaker at the time.

She evolved about two months after hatching when her trainer stopped stalling and finally cleared up the confusion regarding Dataku. Since then, she's taken her role even more seriously, using her increased strength, speed, and aura to stay on her toes.

She's always been fairly close to Flare, but once Blade joined the team, Ace took on a sorta big-sis role with her. Generally speaking, she mingles with most of the team, but her main groupies include Blade, Zen, Lift, Mirage, Slash, Flare, and Knight. She used to have a thing going with Psych the Alakazam, but it ended horribly after Psych got a little too clingy.

Now she has a sorta hate-based fling going on with Ouja that she refuses to acknowledge. She's also taken in Drench as a sorta student, showing him how to fight with his fists and feet.

Current Relationship: While not as close as Flare, Riku considers Ace another highly valued member of his team. As a no-nonsense sorta girl, she's more than willing to keep the oddballs in his team in line, which saves him from constant stress. Plus, she's smart, spunky, and reminds him a bit of Kairi... if Kairi was a bipedal jackal.

Noticeable Traits: Ace is a bit taller than the average Lucario. Other than that, she's been learning human speech and speaks with a bit more clarity than Slash. Usually, she keeps her words to a minimum, though. Words and phrases she's mastered include, "Riku," "Shut up," "Come on," "Stop," and "Run".

Plots and Ideas: I don't have much planned for Ace except maybe getting her in touch with some of her offspring and working out her beef with Ouja. She definitely wouldn't object to more friends, though. Maybe some more students.
