BREEDER'S GATHERING

There were a few ideas tossed around in the plotting post, so I'm going to summarize the plans for this. First off, there's only going to be the Johto version in February. However, I would like to coordinate one for Kanto in March a few weeks after so that people have time to a) travel and b) rejuvenate their Pokemojo for new breeding combinations.

    ☑ Breeders can set up booths to sell their own eggs in whatever way they want
    ☑ Some Breeders/Trainers have mentioned having booths to sell their own wares too ;D
    ☑ Azusa or Hayate will be hosting games of some sort
    ☑ Ron will be teaching a class on how to cook for Pokemon

It'll be an open log posted a day or two early with it being future dated as always so that those who have busy weekends can start in a little early. Sorry for not being able to have a Kanto version along the same time, but I plan to make up for it with the next month. Hopefully people will be able to join them there too o/

    ☑ All of the adoptable/unadoptable Pokemon have been successfully transferred over to this post. Remember, it's free to adopt a Pokemon so you should consider checking it out to see if there's anything of interest there
    ☑ Egg post has been fully updated for January, the next update will be before the Breeder's Gathering
    ☑ Due to recent drops, the Kanto branch is currently unoccupied :(! Remember if your character wants a job in Goldenrod City or Celadon City, the Breeding Centre is always hiring
    ☑ Players are encouraged to come play with the baby Pokemon and any Foster Home Pokemon at anytime! You don't need permission for this <3

If you're interested in plotting anything related to these two businesses, I'm definitely open to it! Please don't be a stranger!

Operation Kidnap Whitney + Hammer Bro Mayhem + Experimental Battling League/Club + Other ideas

Gwa ha ha ha! You thought cookies were all Bowser was capable of? You thought wrong! To start hings off, I'm gonna share some of Bowser's latest schemes in order to possibly generate ideas and discussion.

Operation Kidnap Whitney: This is Bowser's big plot right now. His goal is to give Whitney a serious beatdown when he finally goes up against her before kidnapping her and taking her off to some unknown location. He would spread explosive Pokémon throughout Goldenrod (especially around the gym) and let them go off right before he makes his move and then make a grand departure...

Oh, and ideally he'd set up seven fake rescue locations as a tribute to the Mario games and fill 'em with decoys and messages akin to "Your Gym Leader is in another base!"

The goal with this is to prove he's an awesome villain and find a totally worthy rival. Right now, this plot idea is still undergoing mod discussions, but if it does go through, I'd be happy to coordinate ideas especially with the hero types and PGC.

Hammer Bro. Mayhem:

Bowser is doing something ridiculously silly. He's training Squirtles and Wartortles to fight with mallets. One of his goals is to eventually let loose the turtles of war and have them rampage throughout the city, nailing trainers with their hammers, sabotaging any produce stands because veggies are gross, and ultimately try and steal some awesome stuff.

Also, it'll be a good test run for the hammer squad, okay?

Experimental Battling League/Club: This is something that came up in a discussion with Josh-mun. The basic idea is to run a little group for trainers who wish to play around with battling styles in a casual environment. Combine different attacks at once to test the effects, try a new command style, run choreographed battles to Pikachu's Jukebox songs, the sky's the limit!

It'd probably be run at the Training Center due to the large space and arenas available for experimentation. Still gotta talk the details out with Josh-mun since it was her initial idea, but... Would there be interest?

Training Center in General: Given the recent Pokémon Fight Club and demands for more battling, I'd like to bring up Kanto's Training Center as an option for chars who would like to have a large battling space available, competent Pokémon to train off of, and job opportunities!

There is some general info here, but it's a smidge outdated. One thing I may do is fiddle with the prices a bit. I already gave newbies a lower cost for Pokémon rentals, but I'd be happy to tweak some more within reason. He'll probably give newbie trainers a decreased rate as well; it's just hard to gauge reasonable prices on something like this. I may lower the cost of a weekly pass to something more reasonable, though, like P1000 or a smidge less.

The floor plan is still a WIP, but here are some basic summaries of the various rooms. The TC is an affiliate of the Celadon Breeding Center and has advertisements up around Johto and Kanto as well.

The TC welcomes more battling staff, Pokémon caretakers, cooks, maintenance, and other staff as well as people who need a place to live, as there are a lot of rooms open.

Lastly, the rental service is open and available for newbie characters who'd like to get somewhere fast. I just need to... add a few more Pokés to the roster. I guess I will do that today.

Ahh, why does Bobbery have to be no further into Johto than Route 30 and with a starter at Lv. 10? Since he's the only one here who comes from the world Bowser was originally a thorn in the side of and was friends with his archnemesis, he's going to have some level of an idea that it's his job to stay on Bowser-alert, and I would enjoy to get him into this as a place to start, but I have no clue what he'd actually be able to do.

Need some extra muscle for a shady operation? Someone to catch a hard to find pokemon you're too busy to track down yourself? Or even just someone to stand at the door looking intimidating while you have secret meetings inside? Geddoe may be your man!

Which is to say, I don't have any current major plot plans for him, but am always up for hiring him out to potentially assist with other plots people may be running! He's also probably going to wander over to the Safari Zone in the near future, so if you want to hire him to catch a rare pokemon from all the way out there now's your chance.
