Yeah for sure! I'm really enjoying what him and Apollo got going on so far. Given their vastly different backgrounds, I think these two can get a lot from each other as far as this project goes. But we can definitely work around the whole 'writing things down' bit. We don't have to play it out per se but Apollo can always dictate what he knows and Norman can just jot it down on his own.

I'm definitely interested in Apollo contributing to Science! here, which isn't exactly something he'd be looking into at all. Anything in particular Norman needs info on or Apollo to try and get video of?

Hm, well they were talking about plants for quite a bit. Maybe Apollo can cover the first aid bit of it? Which herbs are good to treat cuts or cover them up when there is no bandaid available...that sort of thing?

He can certainly tell Norman about that. Trouble is all the snow and it being winter and all that, which is why he didn't bring it up directly when they talked. It's more of a "for future reference" thing, rather than a "winter survival" thing unless you're a Nature Hero like Apollo is, but he'd be willing to explain all that if asked.

Ooooh right. Haha I forgot about that! Yeah that was the first thing that popped into my head. The main two things I can think when it comes to winter survival right now are building a shelter and building/maintaining a fire. He could actually use a second opinion on the whole setting up camp thing.

But if there is something you think Apollo would like to show him then I'm cool with that too. c:

Same here. Apollo can help with the fire-building (while wondering how anyone could not know how to create the thing that keeps them warm and cooks their food), but he won't be much help on the shelter-building, unless Norman wants tips for digging a cave with Rock Smash. His shelter his whole life has been a cave and he's never had to actually build anything until he came here, so even working out how to tell his Pokémon how to dig a new cave was a challenge. ...He knows how to turn a canvas tarp into a shelter? You know, the tarps that you can only buy once you get to the next town- oh wait. Not helpful.

Yeah, I found shelter to be the trickiest one of the bunch. So what I'm doing to work around that is just what you mentioned- finding a method to teach your pokemon to replicate a makeshift shelter like a cave or a tiny igloo that works around their basic abilities list. It's still in the works but hopefully after the weekend, I'll have the details sorted out.

But yeah, cool! We can totally start with fire-building 101. Norman had to learn from Harry Truman when he was making his way up from route 29 but Apollo would probably know some other tricks he doesn't know yet.
