Headcanon Meme!

✭ A HEADCANON/QUESTIONS MEME ✭
Because Plurk is down and everything is terrible.

→ Post with a list of your characters.
→ Comment to other people asking them questions about their lineup. Ask anything you can think of: questions about personal headcanon, thoughts on your CR, hypothetical situations, off-screen interactions, future plans, serious business, random crack, whatever!
→ Respond to the questions you receive!
→ LEARN NEW THINGS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE'S CHARACTERS THAT YOU NEVER KNEW BEFORE.
→ Repeat steps 2-4 forever.
Holy Voltorbs.

SHE IS HONESTLY NOT SURE WHAT TO MAKE OF THEM-- although of course she'd probably be way more inclined to learn about them once she finds out about the whole I FOUGHT GHOSTS thing.

Misaki confuses her since she seems to flip back and forth from being regular to a little bit hostile, and seems to have an odd sense of humor to boot. But that doesn't repel her or anything, just makes her tilt her head. More to come the more they talk I think, haha! As for Mio, she's super fond of that kid and a little bit appalled that she seems to have so little knowledge about BASIC STUFF LIKE HAVING FUN. Heather's always been the type to enjoy playing big sister to people so she's happy to fill that role.

AS FOR MAYU... we haven't threaded yet, but just based on whatever interactions may have taken place off-camera (since I'm sure she's seen/spent some time with Mio while all the gang is in Saffron City), if she's interacted with both twins at once, she likely either thinks Mayu is a BIT SPOOKY, or just very clingy, depending on how Mayu acted towards her.

WE STILL NEED TO THREAD THOSE TWO SOMETIME.

OKAY POKEMON TYPE.
Heather is fond of bug Pokemon (which is funny because up till now she only had two and never uses one), since she liked regular bugs back home. Otherwise, she doesn't really have a favorite type. She has plenty of LEAST-FAVORITES, though.

Misaki likes Heather but isn't sorry for the confusion. It's how she usually acts towards normal people -- DEAL WITH IT HEATHER.

There's actually this plot thing going on for Carmen and Reid attempting to split the twins up so Mayu's on her own atm again. I'm thinking of making a post thread sometime tonight or tomorrow so there's a chance there cause she's still not willing to go up to people so easily :I

What are her least favorites? Fire must be an obvi.

HAHAHA SHE'LL HAVE TO. Fortunately she's used to dealing with social awkwardness (I mean she lives with Henry after all)

And oooh, that should be interesting. I'll definitely hit that up when it goes up!

Fire is the main one. She also doesn't like Ghost types very much at all. Also not a huge fan of grass although that has less to do with her weird past phobias and more to do with them just not appealing to her that much. XD

Surprisingly, she's okay with the Dark type.

Speaking of Henry, care to talk about him and Heather's relationship? I love hearing about Heather - Henry interaction

Are there any kinds of pokemon Heather can't stand? Any she loves?

SURE

Henry is pretty much Heather's weird adopted big brother, which is a big first for her.

Not that she hasn't had big brother figures before-- she has, quite a few of them. But Henry is the first 'sibling' who was also mutually adopted by her PARENT, so he's the closest thing she's had to a 'real' brother ever in that her dad pretty much treats him like a grown-up son. They share the same space, they squabble and tease each other (most of the teasing goes on on Heather's end though, admittedly), they tattle on each other, and even sometimes help each other hide things from 'Dad'.

Which is all honestly really exciting to Heather. She grew up with no close family figures in her life outside of her father-- they were very much alone and while she was always okay with that (it was one of the reasons she wound up so close to him) it was a pretty lonely existence for a kid, especially an active and curious one like her. So having another 'member' of the family is like, WHOA. HEY LOOK IT'S WHAT I ALWAYS WANTED AS A KID.

But as with anything in Silent Hill, there's a little more to it than just the adoption factor, and that's knowing that, in all likelihood, Henry is the next victim on the chopping block intended as a sacrifice to summon God in one way or another, and therefore the next person to have to kill it to save the world. This knowledge is COMPLETELY NEW INFORMATION to both Harry and Heather, and it's pretty chilling to know that it's not just them who have had to do this. It means that it's not only NOT impossible for God to return and end the world (again), but that it's pretty much guaranteed to keep on happening as long as the cult exists.
And especially since Henry hasn't DONE it yet, it makes them pretty protective of him. In that light, they're the experienced veterans and he's the scared kid who's about to go through the same thing they did, so Heather and Harry both sort of feel like they need to teach him and encourage him as much as possible, both for his sake and for the world's.

SO YEP.

And uh, Pokemon. GHOSTS, MOSTLY. She really hates Ghost Pokemon and doesn't get along with them in any capacity most of the time. She hates her Gengar and he hates her.
She also dislikes Jigglypuffs, she thinks they're creepy.

As for Pokemon species she really adores, she is pretty much in love with her Joltik. She thinks they're adorable and perfect and abubububu.

With that attitude on Ghost pokemon, I bet she'll hate Misaki's Banette too (but he'll like her). At least Heather's not really alone on that attitude though.

But any way, this is all so fascinating. I love the detail you put into it! please excuse me, i love hearing other people's headcanons and general shit

I believe there was a James that played here before right? Did Heather have any relationship with him?
foolishwren: i hate my mom........ and this town (*plays blink 182 while doin kickflips*)

HAHAHA YES PROBABLY.

And awh, thank you! I... HONESTLY LIKE TO RAMBLE ABOUT IT and usually worry that nobody wants to hear it, so it's always nice to hear when someone IS interested! I think way too much about this stuff for my own good, haha.

And yes, there was a James around the same time the game opened/I first joined, and they were friends while he was here, but he was inactive for the most part so they didn't really know each other THAT well before he eventually disappeared. But she did like him and consider him a 'fellow survivor' of Silent Hill. That was so long ago though. She sort of misses him (as well as Mary, who was here for a time too), but the relationship was never as close as what she has with her current castmates/castmates that were here since that point.
