Xiaoqiao will apparently be shoving Parker to dance with Hope at the prom if you two are still up for it! And she'll probably talk at him too? He can try to explain technology to her, it'll be absolutely useless and probably go off on a weird tangent... :|a

Joonhee hangs around the ninja kids sometimes but is not one himself... he's in Kanto atm but if Hope ever posts on the gear I could poke that for sure.

Though if the opportunity arises to throw Parker at Hope prior to that, I will probably take it because I am determined to get CR with you somehow. Parker really needs to be around more people close to her age.

Also Hope can relate to being surrounded by kids. He's living in a house full of them, so having another adult to talk to would be awesome.

Aside from his Pokémon, tech and engineering mostly. Though he'll also talk about other branches of science, especially with his background of archaeology and goal of branching out to biology, especially Pokemon biology.

Well, the moderate downer news is, Parker isn't the Team Geek, so she prooooobably won't be able to contribute much of her own to that; the really good news is, she canonically gets along fantastically with the Team Geek, and she tends to be a lot quicker on the uptake than her lack of social graces might let on. So I suspect she might actually end up really comfortable around Hope if he were to go off on an engineering tangent because it'd be familiar to her, and she'd at least actively try to wrap her head around the concepts he was putting forth, even if she wasn't on the same purely technical level as he is.

And hey, she can keep up when it comes to sciences like physics and to some extent chemistry, because those are things she deals with in a practical sense as a thief.

Hope will be happy to have at least one person who can keep up with his nerd talk, though I imagine he'd tone it down for her just because. It should be interesting, at the very least, especially when the sciences he knows would be downright weird in her world (magic and magic from technology, what?).

She canonically believes in psychics, aliens, Santa Claus, the Loch Ness monster, and just about every conspiracy theory you could hope to dream up. Hope's sciences may be downright weird in Parker's world, but fortunately, Parker's just downright weird herself. c:

(Case in point here is an icon of her with a picture of the Loch Ness Monster quite distraught at the implication that it is in fact merely a submarine.)

So yeah, I think it'll be really interesting to see how that all unfolds!

You know, I think these two should talk more somehow. Lightning has at least thought that this butt is similar to how Hope was (if I'm rereading threads correctly anyway), so maybe something can be done with that?

Unfortunately the connections will be lost on Hope since he has a completely different understanding of his own childhood, but I'm sure there's something that can be done about this little point :|a like say... REVENGE and stuff.

So they just need to talk more in general. Maybe the log thread is a good opportunity, once Hope's done with his part in chewing out the ninja-kids anyway.
