Oh, good, she really needs more people close to her age to hang out with. It means I have to worry less about emotional projection issues. o/

She has to actively work at getting caught, man. SHE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO GET CAUGHT. It's good to be the best.

Yeah, she has kind of a tendency to see herself in kids, particularly ones that are away from their parents/delinquents/orphaned/isolated, and it puts her on less of an equal footing with the person emotionally when I have to factor in the age difference and that soft spot for their plight and so on. Putting her with someone more like her gives her more room to open up herself, versus having to be the adult to the more vulnerable kid.

And awww, Parker ): Totsuka's the carefree and irresponsible big brother type so he'll keep an eye out for her, maybe even bother her lots to keep in contact too!

I also feel like I ought to mention somewhere that Totsuka was first an abandoned kid and then later adopted into a foster family that split up but he looks back on these as just a part of life and doesn't feel sad about it at all. He has some screws missing :x

It was...I think "Three Days of the Hunter Job" where she's impersonating the young ace reporter (see icon) and the plan demands that she get caught in the mark's office, and she spends a couple minutes just sitting in there with Sophie on the earbuds like OKAY, PARKER, NOW GET CAUGHT and she's just like .......but I don't know how /HALFHEARTEDLY...SHUFFLES...THINGS...in a noisy fashion???

If you consider 'well my foster father was a gambling addict who gambled away everything so there was a time even the water got cut. he also barely came home and wasn't a good father but was a nice person to live with' to be feelings!

They can also bond over how they found psuedo families of some sort too. Parker's Leverage and Totsuka's homely mafia gang *^*

But he's a pacifist! Who occasionally makes threats/is used to make threats because nothing's scarier and more effective than a pacifist smiling and saying he can burn many holes in your body and keep you alive at the same time...He'd be excited to learn anyway -- even though physically he's quite weak.
