THE POKÉHEADCANON MEME
This meme is exactly what it sounds like.
~RULES~
> Talk about your characters' teams!
> ...IN CHARACTER!
Ready?
HEY, YOU! YEAH, YOU. TELL ME ABOUT YOUR POKÉMON. What are they like, personality-wise? Do they have special abilities? Favorite colors? Foods? Grudges against someone else's pokémon? Anything goes!

It's only...Well, two. Two pokemon. "Tequila" is my Charmander and "Mai Tai" is my Cacnea. It was hard to come up with names that really stuck in my head, so I decided to start namin' my pokemon after whatever alcoholic beverage they remind me of.
They're both kinda' low level, because I haven't trained them AT ALL. I'm kinda' lazy, really. I think they're getting fat from all the food and drinks I've been sharing with them.

Evil and on fire.
And mostly evil.
I'm sorry for him
[ :| ]
Heather has like 23 freaking Pokemon or something so she'll just be covering a few for now.
But anyway... well, I already summed up my opinions on Cujo back on Starter Appreciation Day in February... but as for the rest...
I think Arty is like... basically a product of me. She was the first Pokemon I caught myself, back when she was just a Sentret. You know how like, sometimes parents will have more than one kid, and the first one is super bitter because their parents were first-timers and made all their mistakes with THEM? And then the younger ones all turn out just fine because the parents learned their lesson? That's kinda what happened with Arty. She's like what would happen if you bottled up all the anger in the world, and then put it in a fur scarf.
And brought the scarf to life.
Anyway, Claudy... shit, man. I don't even know what happened there. I never exactly associated birds with small cramped spaces, but apparently my bag like, reminded her of the tree hollow she was born in or something, because that thing wound up being HERS.
And like, I thought she grew out of it! I really, really did. She evolved and Noctowls are WAY too big to fit in that tiny bag, so I was like, okay cool, it was a phase.
But then I got a bigger bag.
And... well.
She's the Owlbag.
They are one.
You don't mess with the Owlbag.
Now, Zilla... Zilla came out of the egg rotten. Seriously, he was BORN with an entitlement complex. I didn't even cause it! You know those Snickers commercials where someone is acting like a diva or Robert de Niro or something, and then the tagline is all about how they were being whiny because they were hungry? That was Godzilla 24/7.
Which was fine when he was just a cute little baby Totodile, but he kept growing and... yeah eventually one of his tantrums resulted in me having to get stitches. That was about fifty different kinds of NOT COOL and I won't even lie, I was... kinda scared of him for awhile.
But... I dunno, he shaped up for some reason. Just started behaving himself one day out of the blue. Weird, right?
Oh well. It's definitely an improvement.
Now if only I could just get him to chill the fuck out, because now instead of being a self-centered brat, he's like perpetually one step away from an anxiety attack.
ANYWAY, those are my first four... the ones who've been with me the longest... Spent three whole years with 'em. Whoa. It doesn't even seem that long...
... But yeah, so there's also Alessa the Absol, Carousel the Rapidash, Cheryl the Eevee, Wren the Murkrow, Sunny the Togekiss, Val Jr. the Tyrogue, Mully the Joltik, Huan and Vickie the Houndooms, Cleo the Persian, Butch the Quagsire, Slightly the Gengar, Honey the Butterfree, Blue the Deino, Slendy the shiny Venipede, Kite the Rufflet, Warden the Vulpix, Tricie the Manectric, Asimov the Ampharos, and ... most recently, Norman the Toxicroak.
Ask if you wanna hear about any of them, I guess.

I never knew how tiring just listing them down could be. [Wow that's a lot of Pokémon.]

Second thing, I'm pretty sure the reason why no one I knew from home hasn't even come here yet is because they somehow magically transformed into pokemon. Almost five, maybe six, of my team are exactly like my friends from home except for minor differences, of course. If that's true, then this place has a sick sense of humor.
Third thing, I'm pretty sure my blind dragon dinosaur thing has a thing for me. It sounds stupid but he wouldn't just leave me alone. Even in Seafoam Cave, he was constantly following me. Either I smelled delicious or I was attracting that guy.
Lastly, My Medicham's a creep.

The ones I hatched are, as a rule, nicer and friendlier to strangers than the ones I catch, though my caught ones are great too, mostly.
Is it weird to think with so many Pokémon, if they decided to rebel, I'm not sure I could stop them?

Makes training them pretty much a full-time job, though. I'm lucky if I get enough time with everyone in a week.

At least the box limit seems to have increased, the last time I checked.

And I heard! Isn't it great? I was afraid I was going to run out of space, but now there's so much more room! Someone mentioned I could trade or release some of my Pokémon if I ever ran out of room, but now I won't have to worry about that. Not that I think I'd do that anyway.

It's kind of lonely sometimes, really.

You know what, we should arrange a date.

[She perks up almost immediately.]
That would be kind of fun, I definitely wouldn't say no to that.

Recently, my Krookodile and Infernape haven't gotten along. They both have massive egos, so they're always competing over the smallest of things.
I also have an adopted Xatu that keeps... reading haiku in my mind.

If anybody knows how to deal with a creepy Lampent, be my guest.

Thing is, it just stalks me and peers at me when it thinks I'm not looking at it.

I believe I have a rather varied pack, not only in types and egg groups, but personality as well. Each one is unique from the other, but I would love them all whether they were different or not.
As for my personal team, that varies as well. I like to make sure everyone gets a fair amount of time out of the PC and out of their Pokeballs. The only part of it that doesn't change is Guillemet. I've had her out since she hatched. She's never seen the inside of a Pokeball.
A lot of them are getting used to the idea of raising their teammates thanks to how often I find myself in possession of eggs. And thankfully, speaking of, not many of them are willing to just...breed willy nilly on their own. Guile and Karkitty have tried before, but I end up catching them.
It's...really hard to let any of them go. I'm attached to every single one, so even when I reach the limit I'm allowed, I can't let any of them go so I can obtain more. I'm much more content having them than having a billion new Pokemon.
They're all...kind of spoiled, admittedly. Ever since Watanuki taught me how to make Pokemon food, they've never had to eat store bought stuff. I make everything they eat personally...well. Except for Hisui. She eats whatever rocks and gems she pleases it seems.
[[She pauses here.]]
...and I'm sorry if Dave hits on any of your Pokemon or you. He seems to be under the impression that he's some kind of chick magnet.

I started off here with Alto Clef, he's a Gallade now. Sharp, friendly, loyal, bit shy though. And did it ever surprise me when I first 'heard' him speak. He's a telepath. Can you believe that? There are 'mons out there able to talk with you in your head. Wonders, am I right? He was a Ralts back when we first started, and waaay shy. He's all grown up now. Gotten to be a really reliable partner, strong and capable even when things get heavy. Him and Fugue are regulars with me, never given 'em up for any of the others.
Oh, yeah! Fugue. Fugue's a Zoroark. He's my second partner in crime. We're all thick as thieves; me, him, and Alto. Fugue's an amazing partner. Powerful, quick on his feet, fierce and ruthless on the battlefield. Seriously. He's been like that since he hatched. He gets into a battle and doesn't know how to hold back for the life of him. He's sweet as honey, though, watches after the others with Alto when I'm away and loves to be around people. And what with his ability to do illusions and shapeshifting, he's gotten real good with takin' his own human form!
I've got a small roster, like I said, most of 'em have fully evolved and are pretty strong. Jazz, Bass, Sharp, Capell, Shade, Gravé, Ska, and Treble are my other partners. Jazz is an Arcanine and he's just about the most heroic big guy I've seen. Fast as the wind, too. Bass and Treble are both dragons, a Haxorus and a Gabite I got from Riku a long time back. Gravé's a Reuniclus, Capell's a Honchkrow, Shade's a Sableye. I recently got some new boys from a friend, Dino and Tanta the Rampardos and the Torterra.
...I think that's everbody, actually. So, yeah. That's that.
