Since we just had the last app round of the month, it sounded like the perfect time for August's...

UGH PARKER WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL HIM IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY TOO >:| Okay, so I absolutely adore Parker and Mondo's CR and want more of it. I don't even know what I want, I just want them to thread forever and be buddies and yes. ♥

HONESTLY PARKER PROBABLY KIND OF JUST FORGOT. Whether that's "forgot her birthday" or "forgot to tell anyone", it's hard to say. Christmas tends to be more of her Big Important Holiday than birthdays, alas.

ALSO can I just point out that for all that Parker and Ishimaru are on a flawless wavelength, I'm pretty sure Mondo is the first person in Route to actually get her to act like Parker instead of like ~Alice White the Bookkeeper~? He's precisely the right kind of criminal for her and CR with him is really doing wonders for getting her to loosen up and sort of let go of the facade, so YES PLEASE MORE CR OK

and I'm really glad to hear that! I'm not familiar with her canon, but oh my god is she fun to play with! I like watching her introspection as well! ALL THE CR BASICALLY

Mondo actually hits a resonant note with Parker because she spent a fair chunk of her life running with a gang (boosting cars, primarily) prior to getting picked up and trained into the variety of thief she currently is, and car-stealing in particular gets her because for a while she had an accomplice, a guy a little younger than Mondo, who actually ditched her on a heist gone bad and left her to get caught by the police and shipped off to juvie (which contributes partially to her mistrust of people and her abandonment complex). So he's got that going for him, too — hitting the right notes of THUG LYFE and "decent guy" in a good combination for her to feel at home with him. c:

Oh god Parker baby... he would never abandon you like that, okay!! Besides it's not like the police here can do much outside of lock you up for a couple of weeks or give you community service, so there's no reason to worry!!

Parker is just like, the best older sister figure ever for Mondo, so. I wouldn't be surprised if he just sort of up and adopted her one day. Obviously she reminds him a lot of Ishimaru and Ishimaru is his bro, so that means she should totally be his sister!!! #logic!!!
