Apollo's in the Mahogany area, if Carmen would be interested in running into him again. Confession: he's made a little progress on reading but he hasn't really been trying that hard; he's more able to recognize whole words than be able to sound them out from the letters.

I do have Domri now, as well. He's a kid who wanted acknowledgement from the nearby barbarian tribe but wasn't wanted because he wasn't a strong warrior. He befriended the local wildlife and later earned the respect he desired by using his unique talents and affinity with large animals to save the day. ...I feel like this story is familiar, somehow...

Hey, progress is progress! Carmen's not about to disparage someone who's trying to learn, even if the pace they're taking it at isn't the same one she'd be utilizing.

Apollo's been more interested in the atlatl, because it has more practical value to him.

He is, but there are some similarities to another character that have been pointed out. I doubt that it was intentional, but it's still interesting to note.
