He is one of two people who knows about something that upsets her - new people that she told while in Route, I mean, since at least three of her castmates remember it for themselves - which came up while they were talking once very naturally, so she obviously feels pretty comfortable talking to him. Part of it is that he's one of the few who was outright helpful without dwelling on surprise/suspicion when she first came, but part of it is that he's just fairly easy to talk to.
She definitely considers him a friend, and likes to talk to him though they haven't spoken in actual person in a while. SUCH IS THE ROUTE LIFE. Perhaps next month!

ANYWAY. Predictably, Nanami actually likes Kuzuryuu. She likes all of her classmates, though, and holds nothing in the games against them; in the last trial she even told them to stop ragging on the victim despite how things were, so...she's not holding any grudges and never has against anyone except, you know, Monobear. Because fuck that guy, basically. But anyway, while Kuzuryuu never spent a lot of time one-on-one with Nanami in the game, she has always rather liked him? Although she didn't understand him as well at first.
...Or, rather, she realized he obviously wanted to go to the party, but she didn't realize pointing that out would be a bad thing. She has since learned better. And they went through a lot together, so there's a definite sense of understanding who he is as a classmate and friend, because she does consider him a friend SORRY KUZURYUU JUST DWI.
Nanami trusts him a lot, too, despite everything she knows (or because of it). Enough to call him up and ask him random questions about things she's worrying about or to trust his judgement on something if she doesn't have a strong feeling or idea of her own, and that does say a fair amount. She thinks he's very tsundere, but...he's also a really reliable friend and clearly cares about them all a lot. He wouldn't put up with them otherwise.

I think Saionji's way of thinking can be a little hard for her to follow. That is, she's not as transparent to Nanami as some of the others can be. But she is trying really hard, since she knows that Koizumi isn't around and worries about Saionji because of that - there's no one who Saionji's really comfortable being really, truly honest with, and Nanami thinks everyone could probably use that...
Also, she feels guilty about what happened just before Saionji came to Route. It was another failure, although she'd never say this to Saionji.
She's getting to know the other girl better as they travel, and hasn't staged an escape attempt yet, so obviously she's doing okay with her. :|b

WHATEVER IS MOST INTERESTING

Kirigiri is one of the people that Nanami trusts implicitly and without question on instinct, even now (although this has never taken her anywhere bad). It's probably a really good thing that the DR1s in Route were the makeup they were when she got here; as soon as she saw certain people were around, she was even more all right with the situation than she had been initially (which was pretty all right, since she woke up in a video game and she's the SHSL gamer). This trust is combined with respect and a sort of admiration that does make the way she calls Kirigiri fairly accurate; while she's been turning to her own classmates for random question answering time of late, it has partly been because she knew things were hectic for the other class and didn't want to bother them during that. Kirigiri's one of the names that pops into her head when she wants to talk about something or ask about something.
Basically, she feels safe around Kirigiri and trusts her judgement on pretty much everything. Nanami wouldn't like to be put in a situation where she had to choose between her classmates and Kirigiri/some of the others, because that would be a tough call - and she'd be inclined to go a certain way.
Aside from the trust and respect, she also really does like Kirigiri and feels very real affection for the other girl. In spite of Nanami declaring Kirigiri her Sworn Destined Rival, she's always fairly happy to talk to her about whatever, and Kirigiri is one of the people she's more transparent with - although she also sometimes just slips into gamer talk or references or vague confused conversations like she does with everyone, she's also a lot more likely to be clearly forthcoming with Kirigiri when she has relevant information and knows Kirigiri wants it. Which probably helps her case, tbh.
...She's also somewhat actually viewing Kirigiri as a parental substitute. Kirigiri wears many hats for Nanami.
Nanami -->
ParkerAliceAnyone who recognizes games and plays them is pretty much aces in Nanami's book, and the first time they met Alice gave her a set of light-up reindeer ears. She actually really likes the girl, although they haven't talked a lot; she knows Ishimaru likes Alice, and while she doesn't know much about Alice or Alice's life, she thinks Alice can sort of understand Dangan things, or at least that she's willing to try and is firmly on their side. She's a little curious about how Alice would react to [redacted] but is obviously not going to bring it up.
She also wishes Hardison would show up, because he sounds like someone who would play games with her.

Nanami --> Hagakure
Hagakure actually has Nanami's full implicit trust and respect, for [redacted] reasons; if he ever asked her about anything she would actually outright tell him about it. Hilariously the only reason she didn't when they first met was because he was the only one who didn't outright ask her what was up and question her closely, since she answered the things he did ask without a problem. ...She was just, uh, way more interested in talking about Pokemon than she was about the circumstances...
Outside of that trust and respect, she actually really likes Hagakure. He's friendly, he says weird things that make sense to her, and he's fun. And trusting and nice! Which is a little bit rare in their collective group sometimes, being willing to like...be bros with people (...their classes mixing is something Nanami watches with sleepy apprehension sometimes because sometimes it goes okay and sometimes it very much does not and sometimes the going okay worries you ala Celes and Saionji). She doesn't always understand what he says, admittedly, but some of it does click, and she always likes to listen to him.
She also likes his new haircut. :|a

Well, she can find him a little exhausting sometimes...or at least when he's in conjunction with a certain someone and she's left alone with them. But also she was a little annoyed about the video game thing back on the island...although she doesn't hold grudges really, so she's well over it, though she might be wary of agreeing to a match again. That doesn't really factor into Nanami's actual opinion of and feelings for Souda, though.
She actually does like him; she likes her classmates and is gratified that they consider her one of them, always, because for some reason she doesn't always count herself among them. Even though Souda was occasionally exhausting, he always generally had good intentions for things (...or not bad intentions) and did offer to fix her games once (even if she sassed him) and he's obviously, you know, friendly with her. Nanami considers him a friend, and trusts him.

Jimmy seems pretty cool! He is also weirdly tall. :|a But he seems into the Pokemon thing, which Nanami can appreciate. He apparently hasn't ever played the game, though, which she finds sort of sad...so many people who haven't played such a classic...! She'll probably keep chatting with him/keep an eye out for posts from him, because she's enjoying their conversation so far.

She is a little :| about Kayneth's way of talking about Pokemon and his disregard for game spoilers, but actually doesn't actively dislike him or anything. She thinks he's pretty interesting and wonders if he really thinks about Pokemon the way he said he did, but that's about it. She'd probably talk to him again if it came up, and isn't going to avoid him or anything.
