John he isn't sure how to feel about, MOSTLY of course because of the reveal that he has five freakin' soul eating chandeliers. Just. John. Why. He liked you because you seemed like a funny guy who Snake liked too and then soul eating chandeliers. (eating terror is fine but soul eating is a step too far really)
