Okay so it's probably blatantly obvious that Kuzuryuu is EXTREMELY wary of Kirigiri and doesn't trust her as far as he can throw her. Though he does believe that she's telling the truth about not remembering him, at least. He just doesn't really see a reason for her to lie about that and it would have to be a pretty coordinated lie that, frankly, he's convinced someone like Naegi is incapable of doing. So Kirigiri's in the clear there on that too.
He's determined not to tell her anything and...on some level he's actually sort of scared of her. He'll never admit it, not even to himself, but that's what it is. Kirigiri is an unknown and nigh impossible to read which is, naturally, something Kuzuryuu doesn't like. Even back home, when she showed up with Naegi, it was unclear what exactly HER feelings were about any of that. It's obvious that Naegi trusted them and wanted to help them (because he suffers from protag brain) but that doesn't mean Kirigiri shares those feelings. She trusts Naegi, obviously, so it's entirely possible that she went along with the whole despair rehab thing just because NAEGI WANTED TO, regardless of her own feelings on the matter.
So, suffice it to say, his walls are staying up and he has no intention of trying to get close to Kirigiri anytime soon, if ever. It's like he discussed with Ishimaru, he has his class and you have yours and camaraderie is not what is happening here. It's going to take some work for that to ever happen, at least as far as Kuzuryuu is concerned. He will, at least try to be civil with her for the time being if they do have to talk. That's...something. I guess...

Much like Kirigiri sees a lot of Naegi in John, John sees some of Rose in Kirigiri. Or more specifically, he sees a lot of the Rose he first met vs. Rose as she is now. Only Kirigiri seems...even more closed off to him than Rose did and the only way to deal with that is aggressive friending because GURL DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW TO SMILE? You should smile more, smiling is good for you. It's kind of a four-way tossup between which Dangan John is closest to at this point, but Kirigiri is definitely in that mix there.
Like all of the other Dangans he's talked to so far, John can't help but kind of admire Kirigiri. It's not hero worship or anything like that but it's hard not to be impressed by a bunch of kids who are the ACTUAL BEST at whatever it is they do. A kid like John really can't hold a candle to something like that. But it's not enough to scare him away. Because it's pretty obvious that some of you, while immensely talented, are a little lacking in the friends area. And he doesn't understand why that would be because you all seem like really nice people to him.
