Heather is one of the best friends Envy's made. She's a lot of fun to talk to and tease/be teased by, and he enjoys hanging out with her whenever they do meet up in person. He also thinks she's a good fighter and can take care of herself, but he'd go out of his way to help her if she needed it.

She's also of the people he trusts the most! He'll let down his guard around her and be honest about things he'd normally lie about or hide, and he'd trust her to see him when he's weak or needs help himself. He's confident that she won't stab him in the back or use things he tells her against him (which is something he's generally very paranoid about). It also meant a whole lot to him when she told him (twice...) that she thought he had a soul, even if he didn't act like it did.

AS FAR AS THE ELDRITCH ABOMINATION BUSINESS GOES: he knew that she'd been through some shit, but he did not realize quite how much until she told him more about it. He doesn't quite understand all this god stuff, but he got the gist of it and believes her. And he still thinks of her as something close enough to what he is that he almost feels like he ought to look out for her, like he did with Memory of Alessa. It's also nice to have someone he knows that GETS it.
