[What even was all of this?! It's way too weird to be real, right? Right?]

[Except it feels very, very real, as bizarre as the circumstances seem to be. There's a cute little leafy... turnip... thing... following Russell around as he tries to get an answer he likes from the townsfolk.]

[Eventually he gives up. He's getting nowhere with people, and the bitty grass type is rather insistently tugging on his pants, so he pauses to pick it up.]

What in the world are you...?

[Yeah, it's been explained. Sorta. He's still not entirely sure how it's even possible. I mean, it's part plant for crying out loud. That goes against the rules of everything.]
