[HE DOESN'T, NO, NOT PARTICULARLY...

Chihiro frowns, standing up a bit taller with his grip tightening even further on his bag.]

....I.....I'm s-stronger than you think!

[Oh! Someone's feisty! Dandy can respect that, if only a little bit. Well then, no use denying someone a challenge. Dandy digs into his pocket and pulls out a pokeball, putting feebas back inside it. He then holds up his fists, an excited grin on his face.]

All right, show me what you got!

[.....W-WAIT NO THAT'S NOT WHAT HE MEANT.]

.....??? ...E--ehhh?

[Chihiro leans away from Dandy's fists, all of a sudden trembling where he stands. SOS SOMEONE SEND HELP HE'S GOING TO DIE TODAY.]

I....I didn't m-mean-

[He stammers, unable to get the words out properly. Before he can say anything else, however, one of the pockets of his bag begins to violently glow. A low hum issues from it before a burst of light zaps out, materializing into a Porygon right in front of Dandy. The Pokemon makes it a point to get right up in Dandy's face, letting out a few loud beeps and mechanic rings that are intended to sound menacing.]

[Oh hi, that's his personal bubble. Talk about yet another mood killer, Dandy was really looking forward to a friendly beat 'em up. For all he knew, this kid really was stronger than they looked. Also punching!

But no, instead he gets weird duck thing in his face. Fantastic.]

Kinda in the middle of something here.

[He tries to push down on the porygon, at least so it's no longer blocking his vision. The digital creature's beeping threats do very little to stir anything in Dandy.]

So are we duking it out or battling? Feel free to make up your mind, kid.

[He'll show you weird duck thing! Zip manages to stay where he is, giving Dandy a very stern glare because the last thing you're going to do is make his trainer upset.

AND, WELL, IF HE HAD TO CHOOSE....

Chihiro sighs shakily, looking up at Zip as he continues to beep loudly at Dandy.]

F-fine. ...I'll battle you.

[Zip hovers back slightly to take position in front of Chihiro. Looks like he's got this one.]

[Such a pain in his ass. At least now they know what they're doing, but Dandy would much prefer if the kid just handed him the money. Oh well, at least he gets experience out of it. Whistling from the side of his mouth, Dandy finally calls over the starly that's been watching this mess unfold. She flaps over and perches herself on Dandy's shoulder as he prepares for battle.]

Hey, no skin off my nose.

[He motions his head towards starly, pointing at the enraged porygon.]

Sic 'em!

[Chirping out the cutest battle cry ever, starly spreads her wings and takes off, flying right at her opponent.]

[OK, UM. Chihiro opens his mouth to give his Porygon a command, but lo and behold he's too steamed at the moment to wait. Without warning the low humming and beeping intensifies as he lets loose a huge bolt of electricity at the approaching Starly.

So, this Porygon may have lucked out in the random TM lottery as designated by the Game Corner and happens to know Thunderbolt.]

[The thunderbolt hits the little starly and...she falls to the ground instantly. One hit KO, baby!

...Oh wait, no that's bad, that's his starly.]

[Dandy stands there for a good five seconds before turning around and running off. Oh hell no, he's not giving a kid any of his money.

Of course, he turns around again to grab his injured bird, but it's only to create a full circle and run off again.]

[.....well that just happened. Chihiro blinks as Dandy takes his Starly and suddenly books it, without so much as a "hey nice job good battle friend". In all honesty he feels a bit bad about frying the poor little bird like that, which....wasn't his intention at all.

With another sigh he pulls out his 'Gear, holding it out so Zip can disappear back inside.]

T-that....might have been a little too much...

[Tch, let it be a lesson to Dandy, then. Don't judge a book by it's cover man >:C]
