[Another victim, perfect for jumping. Dandy takes his fish and ducks behind a nearby tree, peeking just a little to get a good look at this kid and his pet noodle. He doesn't feel like being direct this time around, it's all about the element of surprise, baby! What kid WOULDN'T accept defeat the moment a grown ass man jumps them with a blasty fish?]

Just a little closer...

[He cocks his feebas, ready for assault. This is going to be a thing of beauty.]

[Jimmy seems none the wiser as he looks through the Pokedex, humming to himself. Cherry lifts her head slightly as she runs on ahead a bit, her ears twitching. Hmm. ...Something seems off here, somehow.

She rises onto her hind legs to get a better look around, nearly matching Jimmy's height as she scopes out the area. Nothing but a lot of trees and bushes, some random Pokemon here and there.....and of course the scents of lots of trainers that have come and gone. Nothing to be too concerned about...]

[Which means now would be the perfect time to jump out and attack! Which is exactly what he does.]

I LIKE SHORTS!! THEY'RE COMFY AND EASY TO WEAR!!

[And with...that said, he unleashes another dragon pulse directly at the furret. Never mind that he's wearing pants, these are just the kinds of things you shout at other pokemon trainers. Trust him, he's an expert on these kinds of things.]

[The attack takes her completely by surprise, striking her dead on. Cherry doesn't even have the chance to exclaim as the blast rockets her right off the path, sending her tumbling into the grass on the edge of the route. Startled by Dandy's sudden appearance, Jimmy fumbles his 'Gear and drops it in the dirt.]

C-...CHERRY!?

[IT'S A ONE-HIT KO....wherever she landed, anyway.]

[Wow, really? He took out a fully evolved pokemon with a mere feebas? ...Well, of course! Was there any doubt in his amazing battling abilities?]

There you have it, baby! Knockout! You know the rules, time the pay up. I won this battle fair and square.

Might wanna step back, this fish thing is bound to evolve any second now.

[More like blasted the poor thing into the next week, but sure that's fine too. Jimmy completely ignores Dandy for a moment and rushes into the grass to drag the Furret out, who is completely dazed and unfit for any battling of any sort.

Jimmy looks over to Dandy from where he's knelt by her, completely bewildered.]

We.....battle? ...W-we weren't-!

..That's not fair!

All's fair in love and war, baby. Not my fault you weren't on guard, especially during these rough times. The world's a cruel, cruel place and only the strong survive. That's me. ...And, the fish.

[Feebas lets out a very emotionless "Bas" as she lies in Dandy's grip.]

Now fork it over. Man's gotta survive, you don't expect me to live off nothing, do you?

[It's like Jimmy doesn't want him to eat or something. Selfishly worried about his injured pokemon rather than paying this man who just attacked him. Down right insulting.]

[You know, as much as this reeks of injustice, he does have a point. Trainers challenge each other to battles all the time on these routes. This is....just the first time someone's attacked him without any fair warning.

He takes a moment to check Cherry over to make sure she's ok otherwise before returning her into her ball, stiffly getting to his feet. Then he stiffly digs in his bag and pulls out a handful of pokedollars, holding them out to Dandy.]

Here. You're right, I wasn't payin' attention. Maybe I'll do better next time!

[I MEAN, NO. OF COURSE REALLY! It's about time someone acknowledged his amazing pokemon abilities. Just for that, Dandy grabs his bag and begins digging around, pulling out a potion. He swaps it for Jimmy's money, easily pocketing the pokedollars without any hesitation. He did win it, after all.

Still, he does feel bad about beating up one of the more cuter residents of the pokemon world. Hence the potion. It's his making up present, honest.]

Might as well use it now unless you want to trek all the way back to the poke-dealy-center.

...Actually, that doesn't sound half bad. I have a hard time saying no to Nurse Joy~

[As such, his pokemon have a bad habit of getting healed over and over again.]

O-oh, um....thanks!

[He looks from Dandy to the potion and back before pulling out Cherry's pokeball again, releasing her. She appears in a loose sitting position before flopping over on her side in front of Dandy's feet, very much the furry noodle she was before, only now she's a furry limp noodle.

Jimmy kneels down in front of her again to administer the potion, looking up at Dandy out of the corner of his eye as he works.]

.....What kind of Pokemon is that..?
