[If you're on one of the routes, it's possible you've come across something very odd. The path you're walking on seems to be littered with half-eaten berries of all kinds. If you were to investigate this strange situation, you'd find a trail of berry scraps, clearly leading to something father up the path.

And that something would be Beezy. Judging from the loud snoring, he's asleep on his back in the grass, his Munchlax asleep beside him, both of them surrounded by piles of berries both uneaten and mostly-eaten. He's a big kid, half-naked save for the brown shorts he wore. Maybe his clothes got stolen? Although, his bag is in the grass not too far from him.

Weird, huh?]

[Coming across the snoozing boy wasn't what she'd had in mind at all when she'd reluctantly started her way down the route, but it was just yet another thing on the list of "Things Karina Couldn't Have Possibly Dreamed Of Happening".

...Well, it could be weirder.

After all, he had the right idea, at least, cozied up on the grass there. He'd even set his meals within reach! Everyone knows that getting up because your stomach was growling was one of the worst feelings, like your legs were fighting against you the whole while.

It takes a minute of staring, but Karina comes to a conclusion relatively quickly. Her bag is dropped unceremoniously to the ground, and should Beezy or the Munchlax stir they would quickly find the lazy girl curled up asleep on her side next to them, apparently having only taken enough care in choosing her spot so she wouldn't squish the berries.]

[Judging from Beezy's impressively loud snoring, he was a heavy sleeper and wouldn't likely notice Karina. Luckily though, his Munchlax was more of an eater than a sleeper, and was aroused from its slumber.

....Huh, there's one more person here than before. Weird. Should he be concerned? Should his trainer be concerned? We just don't know.

Thankfully, the Pokémon decided to ask, and slowly started to shake his trainer awake. That took a while though, but he did succeed in waking up Beezy.]

...Ah, hey there little fella. [Pat pat on the pokemon's head. Beezy had very quickly come to like his new traveling buddy.] Hungry again?

[The Munchlax shook his head, pointing to the new addition to their resting spot. Beezy, sufficed to say, was very confused.]

...Uh, heeeeeeey... [His voice trailed away. Who was this person?] .....You.

[Luckily his snoring hasn't allowed her to sleep very deeply, so once her mind clues her in on the fact that he's addressing her, Karina's lids drift open again, apparently trying for the bare minimum of wakefulness.]

Karina...

[It's with a sigh that she rights herself and resumes her sleepy staring.]

I was hoping you would sleep for longer. Like six more hours...

Oh... [He nods slowly, as if that makes sense to him. Spoilers, it doesn't.]

Beezy! [He states with a smile, even if she didn't ask for his name.] Oh, usually I sleep more than that. I could sleep all day if I wanted to, isn't that right?

[The question was directed to his pokemon, who replied with an unhelpful "Munchlax, munch"]

Exactly.

[Did her heart just skip a beat?]

That'd be great... [Karina yawns, then attempts at a stretch. She gives up halfway. It doesn't even occur to her that she could be the reason Beezy was woken up -- that type of thing would just be the worst to inflict on another sleep-lover.

Instead, her curiosity turns to the Munchlax, which earns a point.] You can speak to monsters...?

[I don't know, did it?]

Oh, him? [Eyes are on Munchlax, who is staring at both of them confusedly. Or, at least it could be confusion; it's more like a blank stare.]

He and me have a special understanding, a real bond if you will. You see, he loves sleeping and eating just as much as I do!

[The perfect pair.]

[These two are perfect and Karina is starting to perk up a little at their presence. She'd never met anyone with the same sleeping habits as her before.]

Ha ha... That's a really good monster, then. [Much better than any of the ones she'd heard about... Except that cute, soft Golden Wooly.] Mine's more like a nightmare.

[More importantly -- ]

Hey. Can I eat some of the berries, too?

[They certainly think they're perfect. And if Karina wants to think that, all the more power to her.]

He's a lot nicer than the monsters I know too! Doesn't try to eat me or anything. [...Probably talking about Heloise's experiments. It's a long story.

He looks over at a pile of fresh berries, and seems to be seriously thinking this question over.]

Hmm......... Okay! Since you're cool and all, help yourself.

[...okay, this is a little weird.

The Routes are usually a lot less...littered than this, and the specific type of litter is even weirder, especially when the trees aren't close enough to the path to just drop berries out in the walkway. Plus, they've all been eaten on.

A hoard of Pokemon of some sort, maybe?

Jimmy weaves around the berries, glancing down at the Manectric walking at his side with a frown.]

Any idea what all this is about? I-

[He stops short when he sees the kid off in the distance, the sentence dying on his tongue.]

...Wh-...? Hey! Are you alright?

[Jimmy picks up speed and jogs over to the boy and Pokemon, wondering if...maybe his clothes did get stolen? But...wouldn't his Pokemon get stolen over his clothes? ...and why just his shirt?]

[If it had been anyone else, Beezy might not have awoken, he didn't really care as much when it came to other people. But, as soon as he heard the voice of his bestest friend in the world, Beezy's eyes opened and he looked up.]

Huh? What...?

[A small moment of searching before his gaze found Jimmy, running up to him. He waved happily.] Yo, Jimmy! How's it going?

[Jimmy nearly asks how this kid knows his name, but he's stopped dead when he hears his voice. There's no way he could mistake that voice.]

W-wh....Beezy!?

Well duh, man. Who else would it be?

[....Beezy pauses.] I guess it could've been Heloise, or Dad. Can Cerbee say your name?

[He thinks about that for a moment, as if it's important, running a hand through his thick, red hair. The train of thought is derailed and he smiles again.]

Check it out! I have hair!

[Actually, you're going to have to hold that thought, Beezy. Because before you say anything else Jimmy is suddenly throwing himself at you, his arms wrapped around you in the tightest hug he can manage.]

B-Beezy! Beezy, you're here! You're actually here!

[Whoops, wasn't expecting that. The two of them go down in a heap on the grass. Luckily, Beezy is as resistant to damage as ever, and, he's going to return the hug with one of his big bear hugs. Or, he would if he was still a demon guy, so Jimmy's ribs are safe.]

Yeah, man! This place is cool! Have you seen the sky they have here? It's great!

[He pointed out his Munchlax over on the side, eating some of the fresh berries.] And, I got this awesome traveling buddy. He doesn't talk much, but he's cool.

Y-yeah! Yeah, it is!

[He laughs a little, shaking his head as Beezy hugs him back. It's strange, with Beezy being vastly smaller now than he was, but he still doesn't hesitate to hug him, and it's unlikely he'll be letting go for a while.]

I haven't....seen you in so long! I missed you so much!

[Smaller, yes, but Beezy was still a about as tall as Jimmy, and he wasn't a noodle like his buddy.

That's perfectly okay, Beezy was just as okay with hugs as Jimmy was. Although, he was beginning to pick up on Jimmy's words.]

I know, right? This morning was so long ago.

This morning?

Try six months!

......Did I oversleep again?

I don't think so, Beez.

I've...I've just been in this place for a real long time.

I guess time didn't pass back home.

[GASP] So, you're saying we've traveled through time?

...Far out!

Also I'm not red anymore. [Save for the hair.] That's confusing.

Um...well, I dunno! But I'm glad you're here, anyway!

[Jimmy grins, nodding.]

Yeah. Don't worry though, you'll get used to it!

I'm here for you, dude! [Another big hug before Beezy stands up.]

I don't know. Hey, does this mean I have to wear more clothes now?
