Bill's attention finally shifts to the girl. He squints at her outfit, head tilted slightly — he supposes he looks strange out here in his uniform, but he can't help wondering what her reason for wearing clothes like that might be. Hm.]

[Bill is, in fact, correct! The Beautifly does not in fact talk, and therefore it does not respond in any sort of verbal capacity.

It does, however, fly up like some kind of batshit avenging angel and start hovering menacingly between the girl and the man with his Psyduck, beating its stained-glass wings with a vaguely warning air.]

That's one angry bug. Bill takes a step back, considering the girl's words: Ask the duck to do something. Like what...?]

[To Bill's surprise, Psyduck toddles out in front of him and calls out its nasal psy-yi-yi greeting. Which is not anything like the quacks Bill is used to, but he's given up on anything here being like "what he's used to."]
