It's too bad that I'm not from around here - I guess we'll have to rely on the good will of something that decides to come and take pity on us.

[He shrugs, before slowly making his way over toward the brambles the stranger seems to've landed himself. Might as well make sure that he didn't twist an ankle or something in all that.]

We can certainly hope there is such a kind soul about. [He's a little attention split between someone close by, dusting off, and ... trying to pin down where the sound came from.] You wouldn't happen to have seen my pack anywhere, would you? I seem to have misplaced it somehow.
