[And there's Hughes, with an electric rodent sitting on top of his head while he fusses over the cute ball of fluff that's landed onto his shoulder.

A brief pause as he looks over to the blonde that has suddenly appeared.]

[And there's still giving idle scritches to the Eevee.

Sure, he could be wrong. If he was, it wouldn't be any surprise. If it was her - she looks SO MUCH OLDER than when he last saw her! She's grown up so much!]

[Ohhhhhhhhhh. Well, Mister Hughes appearing here would explain why the Eevee is so excited. She used to belong to a Hughes, so... Yeah.

Winry looks surprised to see him at first. Then again, she's seen him here twice before. Funny thing; it never gets any less amazing because she's never been here from time back when he's still okay, she's always been from after everything happens... Yup. So, after the surprise, there's a really, really happy smile.]

They are, and there are hundreds of them. Well, the ones who eat metal aren't really my friends or -- some others either, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't be adorable in others' opinion.

[Eevee will be happy to get any attention. Wait, it's always just happy about every positive thing anyway, no real change there.]

[Hughes nods, quietly taking note of the 'he' and assuming it to mean Edward. While he doubted that Fullmetal would be unlikely to share a lot of information with Winry, it does actually make a stupid amount of sense when you think about the kind of high stakes stuff he was getting involved in at the time. Any information withheld from the mechanic was likely for her safety.]

...oh, wait, if they're going to talk about those metal eaters, then ... see, that smile going away but actually she looks pretty thoughtful at that second question.]

There are. I've seen some eating automail and well, their type is mostly steel so I guess that would explain why they need to eat different metals. They can dig it from the ground, especially in mountains and caves, if they're wild and local shops that are all about pokemon food and other stuff for pokemon sell us things that we can feed to them. ...Come to think of it, I should buy a roomful of that stuff before Ed gets one of those.

[He blinks thoughtfully. The fact that they are Steel-types does make sense. They probably wind up digesting the metal in such a way that it directly feeds into how they're made up? Maybe?

It was interesting, though. Some of these creatures eat metal but you can buy food for them! Check!

The mention of "before Ed gets one of those" causes him to raise an eyebrow, though.]

Ed's planning to get one, even though it might try to eat his automail?

They're what he calls cool and badass pokemon, so yes? ...Not that -- A lot's happened to him, he... doesn't have that automail arm anymore, so as long as they don't find the leg. Which probably wouldn't take them a long time, but --

Yes, he is! Here, here even, I kind of lost him right before I found you when he just rushed off... somewhere.
