[The Kangaskhan is also eyeing the Absol, glancing at the man who had been giving the yelling-at-her-based economy a bailout a few minutes ago. The trainers had locked eyes, so she was waiting for the order to battle.

But while the protective dog is enough to make Kenny pull up shy of arm's reach before he could just to make sure that she was really there, that it was really her, he doesn't give the bizarro animals any more thought than that.

Then Clementine moves to close the gap and he pulls her into a protective, relieved hug.]
