Character Relationships Meme
Because I noticed we haven't had one of these in quite a while. This meme is pretty simple! Just:
1. Post your character(s).
2. Comment to other characters asking what they think of yours right now, and answer anyone who comments to your thread.
3. Lovely CR descriptions for all!

Anyway! Tulio's a big fan of Envy now. c: Not only because of the steady CR building but esepcially in light of Nanao's disappearance, which was an eye-opener for him since he hasn't had people he cares about disappearing before. He's scared now that Envy'll go and determined to do what it takes to keep him around if he can. And he really is part of the group now - Tulio trusts Envy and values his input, not to mention his skill. And though they might clash at times it's not anything that makes Tulio angry anymore, it's just the same kind of disagreements he normally has with Miguel.
Tulio's out of the PARTNER think for the most part, even! I mean, Miguel will always be special, but he considers them a group now and not him and Miguel PLUS Envy. It's the three of them and they're both important to him. Moreover, they make a pretty good team.
Not to mention that Envy is the first friend he made for years, so he's special, too. c:

Honestly he's more attached to Miguel than EVER these days, because of Nanao disappearing. It really opened his eyes towards the whole ".. :C oh my god my BFF might go too." And he's REALLY anxious about it even if he tries not to think about it too hard, so he just really wants to keep Miguel close at all times and make sure he doesn't leave him ever.
Not to mention that he just really honestly loves Miguel and now he's going to try to show it more, in his typical not-actually-saying-it ways, because ... yeah, he might disappear. And if he did it'd pretty much end Tulio. So he's just going to cling to him a lot until he starts to forget about the disaster that is disappearances again.
BEST FRIEND FOR LIFE. ;; PLEASE TO NOT GO.

But Cooper is definitely liking Carmen so far. I've said it before but she really is the kind of woman he used to be very attracted to, and though he himself isn't recognising it quite as such he's just basically having a lot of fun with their conversations. It's exciting for him to find someone who seems to have his sense of humour but who can also keep up with his ~detective thinking~ as well as his spiritual and philosophical nature -- but then there's also her challenging him with the postcard, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Not to mention that the information she recently gave him is making her climb the list of people he can depend on and trust, since she really does seem to hold her word. While the whole audio-only thing has made him both more intrigued and curious about her it's also a little something to find suspicious, so while he definitely doesn't trust her fully he thinks that he will, in time.
Basically he just really likes her. She's similar to him in many ways and he can tell, and we're always drawn to people who are like us.
So yep, I agree, their first meeting is going to be gold. c:

Tulio likes China too, mostly because he's just ... genuinely kind to him. He's one of the people who helped him realize that not everyone has an angle. And he's happy China hasn't disappeared, especially now after Nanao did when he realizes that that can really happen. He doesn't consider Yao a friend or anything, but he's more than okay with talking to him and he wouldn't steal from him or trick him.

TULIO .......... is so confused. 8( like, you have no idea how much of a confused puppy he is. He likes her. He really does. He's developed his share of affection and friendliness for her and he likes talking to her, because she's not afraid to bite back when he teases. But now he's not 100% sure how to approach her now when he knows she LOVES him - because that's such a big word. Does that change things? He thinks they should, right? But what kind of changes and how is he supposed to go about them?
Not to mention that he doesn't really know what HE feels in return, because he's bad with feels like that. Basically he really DOES like her but he's not sure what's going to happen between them. It's a bit cliché-sounding but he doesn't want to lose someone he does consider pretty-much-a-friend, because it'd be so awkward and weird and probably his fault (since he does seem to set her off, HE HAS NOT FORGOTTEN THOSE TIMES) and he'd feel really bad, but he doesn't want to go into a notion of romance and what that might be either, because he's kind of weirded out by it all. Romance isn't a THING in the middle ages, you know? You're set up with people or marry for convenience. Romance has little to do with it. And he sort of left home when he was really young and has no clue what all that means anyway.
so. yeah. THINGS.
