Vanitas is a Jerk. That is Roxas's mantra and probably won't be changing anytime soon.

The fact that they're actually having/had a civil conversation right now is honestly surprising. But it's sort of giving Roxas a new perspective on Vanitas. He's still a jerk, but perhaps not as big of a jerk? At the same time, Roxas won't hold his breath and there'll be hell to pay if Vanitas does anything to that ice cream pokemon.

So yeah, Vanitas is a jerk and Roxas has a one-track mind.

Roxas about Xion?

Not a whole lot has changed, to be honest. He still considers her one of his best friends, and tries to talk to her whenever he can.

However, he worries constantly about her, especially with the fact that she keeps getting hurt and he can't do anything about it. It's frustrates him, being far away from her, and unable to help, and would much rather have her travelling with him again (because he's selfish like that).

At most, he'll keep checking in on her.

Also of note is their promise to make everyone happy. He's taking that very seriously, and doing his best to stay positive.

Well, you've asked about China on Roxas? Now what about the other way around?

Roxas is kind of unsure about China, mostly because he approached him while he wasn't exactly himself (he was way closer to the part of him that is Sora than he wanted to be and it kind of freaked him out). At the same time, since he initiated a relationship, he doesn't really want to drop it. China strikes him as nice and knowledgeable, and he likes being able to share experiences since they've both been in Johto for a while.

Ironically, if Roxas were to ever tell China about his relation to Sora, he'd understand. He is both China and Wang Yao, so they could get into some deep conversations on that subject.

But for now, China will act as an older brother figure to Roxas like he tries to do for everyone else in Johto.

Perhaps once Roxas opens up to him or something. But He will be cool with the older brother thing. Roxas needs more people like that in his life.
